The episode starts with Lavanya informing Rajat about Sanjay’s invitation to his house to have dinner. Also, his plan is to cook food for her. Rajat praises Sanjay. Lavanya tells him it’s not easy for her to move on in life, but she feels God send Sanjay to replace Rajat from her life. Rajat smiles, and then he starts looking for a gift for Sanjay. Lavanya recalls Gini’s information about Baani growing suspicious of Rajat after seeing her earrings. She gets determined to separate Rajat and Baani because she loves him so much. Rajat selects a gift for Sanjay. Lavanya expresses her gratitude to him.
In Khanna’s house, Gini apologises to Baani. She also asks Baani to slap her. Baani calms her down. Bhishan taunts Poonam for Baani’s stressed state. Poonam gets upset with herself, too. Gini asks Baani about Rajat’s whereabout. She also tells her that she learned through Rajat’s office that Rajat left the office on time. Baani gets shocked. Later, Baani informs Rajat about Bebe’s surgery that will take place the next day. She tells him that she has taken a leave. Rajat asks her not to take stress. Also, he decides to accompany Bebe to the hospital. Baani finds lipstick mark in Rajat’s shirt, so she questions him. Rajat tries to make her understand he doesn’t have any idea about the lipstick stain. Baani refuses to believe him, and then she leaves the place. Rajat gets upset with Baani’s behaviour. He also realises that because of Gini, the lipstick mark is on his shirt. Meanwhile, Gini, who overhears their conversation, informs Lavanya about the misunderstanding between Rajat and Baani. Lavanya praises Gini. She then shares her next plan to Gini. Gini praises Lavanya’s plan.
Here, Baani vents out her frustration with Navjyot about Rajat’s act. Navjyot advises her to ask Rajat about his relationship with Lavanya. Baani refuses. She further says that she is confused about her opinion of Rajat as he has done so much for her and her family. Navjyot says maybe Lavanya is trying to get back Rajat. She again advises Baani to speak with Rajat, but Baani refuses to do it again.
At night, Baani notices that Lavanya is calling Rajat. She pretends to sleep. Rajat goes outside and answers Lavanya’s call, who informs him about her engagement being fixed with Sanjay the next day after he has proposed to her. So she requests him to do the decorations for her engagement. Rajat tries to change her decision but gives in later.
The next day, Rajat and the entire family encourage Bebe not to fear about her surgery, and then they all take her to the hospital. Baani hears Rajat’s conversation with Shanky on call to make Lavanya’s special day a memorable one. She misunderstands and gets upset. Meanwhile, Lavanya gifts an expensive bracelet to Gini. In the hospital, after Bebe’s surgery, Rajat decides to go to help Shanky with the decorations. Baani controls her angers and she thinks in her mind that she knows Rajat is going to meet Lavanya.
Precap: Navjyot forcibly takes Baani with her to find out Rajat and Lavanya’s relationship truth. Meanwhile, Lavanya puts up an act in front of Rajat and hugs him. Gini takes their photo from her hiding place.
