The episode starts with Kalikant learning from Solanki that Geeta is returning to Mokshgarh. Solanki tells Kalikant that after the incident, he got Geeta married to IPS Anmol, and they now have a daughter. Solanki says it’s a twist of fate that Anmol has been posted near the forest. He then asks Kalikant to ensure that Geeta doesn’t find out what happened 8 years ago. Kalikant agrees.
Ballu arrives at Kalikant’s house, intoxicated. Kalikant angrily asks how Ballu dares to come before him in such a state. He orders a servant to bring a whip. Ballu tells Kalikant that he is willing to be killed if needed, but first, he has information that could be profitable for Kalikant. He explains that he came without Durjan’s knowledge and had to drink alcohol to gain the courage. Kalikant asks what the information is. Ballu reveals that Durjan is considering making Harish the chief of the Chitta community. If that happens, Harish might cause a lot of problems again. Ballu adds that Harish is going into the forest today to catch foreign birds, and if he succeeds, Durjan will make Harish the chief instead of him. Ballu seeks Kalikant’s help in becoming the chief of the tribe. Kalikant thinks that if he helps Ballu, Harish will be out of the picture, and he can keep his promise to Solanki. Plus, Ballu will be his slave for life.
Durjan sees Harish preparing to enter the forest to catch the birds. Nanda tells Durjan that he is focusing too much on Harish and neglecting their son. Durjan replies that he wants the Chitta community to flourish under Harish’s leadership, not be destroyed under Ballu’s rule. Harish enters the forest.
Kalikant tells Ballu to prove that he is worthy of being chief by removing the obstacles in his way. Ballu agrees and leaves.
Jagriti tells Bindi that she is worried about Harish catching the foreign birds and selling them. She’s concerned about what will happen to the birds. Bindi reassures her, saying the birds won’t be eaten but will be caged and raised. Jagriti feels relieved and thinks Harish is doing a good thing. She heads into the forest to find him.
Harish leaves his horse and ventures deeper into the forest in search of the birds. Ballu sneaks up and cuts the saddle belt of Harish’s horse. Ballu thinks that when Harish rides past the valley, the horse will get scared, and when Harish pushes it to go faster, he’ll fall into the valley.
Jagriti finds Harish and gives him a sacred thread, saying it will protect him from evil. Harish tells Jagriti not to venture into the inner jungle because it’s dangerous. She agrees and leaves.
Harish mounts his horse and rides near the valley. He accidentally falls off the horse and tumbles into the valley. Jagriti witnesses this and becomes worried. She rushes to the valley and sees Harish clinging to the rocks. Jagriti urges Harish to give her his hand. Harish tells her to go and get help from the people who came with him. Jagriti agrees and leaves to find help.
Geeta arrives in Mokshgarh and recalls her past there. Her husband snaps her out of her trance, asking her to get in the car, as today is his first day of duty in Champara. Geeta thinks of Harish and tells herself that Harish is dead to her.
