The episode starts with the police urging Adit to confess to his crime, promising a lighter sentence. Adit questions why he should admit to something he didn’t do. The police inspector, frustrated, instructs a constable to take him to jail. Sowmya intervenes, pleading with the inspector not to take action against Adit until his lawyer arrives. Adit, surprised, asks why she is there. Sowmya reassures him, stating that she has hired a good lawyer who is on the way.
Kusum interjects, telling Sowmya that Adit doesn’t need her help because his family is there for him. Mangal asks Sowmya what she is doing, and Kusum insists that she leave.
Lakshmi then tells the cops that she hasn’t filed any complaint. The officers remark that women like her often file complaints only to withdraw them later due to family pressure. The police inspector insists on discussing the matter with Mangal first. They ask Mangal if her husband has abused her, to which she firmly replies no. When the police point out her injured hand, suggesting it indicates abuse, Mangal defends Adit, asserting that he has never harmed her. After taking her statement, the police allow Adit to leave.
Later, Karthik questions Lakshmi about why she didn’t file a complaint against Adit. This prompts Lakshmi to recall a Muslim woman who had borrowed her phone to call her kids, leading her to wonder why she would file a complaint against Adit.
As Adit tries to leave, reporters swarm him with questions. Gayatri tells them they have no comments to make. Karthik attempts to shoo the reporters away, but they claim Lakshmi is a role model for speaking out against domestic violence, even against her own family. Karthik remains silent and takes Gayatri away.
In a private moment, Gayatri scolds Lakshmi for humiliating Adit and dragging Karthik’s name into the situation. Mangal watches this unfold from a distance.
Back home, Adit retreats to his room, visibly distressed. Mangal asks Kusum to let Adit have some time alone after everything that has happened. Suddenly, Adit emerges with his luggage. Kusum inquires about his intentions, and Adit declares he will no longer stay in the house where he feels disrespected. Mangal intervenes, trying to stop him, but Adit pulls his luggage away, causing Mangal to flinch in pain. He quickly apologizes, explaining it was unintentional.
Mangal questions Adit’s choice of words. He expresses his need to clarify matters with Lakshmi, fearing she will file another complaint against him. Karthik attempts to reason with Adit, suggesting that it was a mistake. Adit retorts, reminding Karthik of the humiliation he faced and how he almost went to jail because of Lakshmi. As Adit prepares to leave, Lakshmi stops him, insisting that such a mistake will not happen again and pleading with him not to leave. Adit reluctantly goes back to his room.
Mangal takes Lakshmi aside, chastising her for her actions and urging her to listen to Gayatri’s advice.
While returning home in the car, Lakshmi notices a photo of a woman’s feet. Upon seeing the image and the time, she suspects it belongs to the Muslim woman who framed her. Gayatri advises Lakshmi to ensure that such incidents don’t occur again, and Lakshmi agrees.
Meanwhile, Sowmya meets with a lawyer, examining divorce papers for Adit and Mangal, contemplating how to secure Adit’s signature.
