The episode starts with Mangal asking Kusum what happened. Mangal says, “I gave my chunri to that lady because her blouse tore.” Kusum replies, “I told that woman everything.” Mangal asks Kusum what she told her. Kusum tries to speak, but Mangal notices the aarti has started. She takes Kusum with her to attend Mahadev’s aarti. Kusum tries to tell Mangal about Adit’s affair with Soumya, but Mangal couldn’t hear due to the loud noise. She takes Kusum inside the mandir. Sindoor from Shiv’s feet falls on Mangal’s maang. Mangal tells Kusum that it’s a good sign from God. She prays for her married life. An old lady tells Mangal that her wishes will be granted.
Soumya takes Adit’s signature on the divorce papers without letting him know. Lakshmi sees Daksh in the market. She confronts him and asks if he is really Soumya’s boyfriend. Daksh, noticing everyone is watching, admits that he acted that way on the suggestion of Soumya’s real boyfriend, who paid him. Lakshmi asks him to reveal who Soumya’s boyfriend is. Just then, Daksh sees a constable approaching. He pushes Lakshmi and runs away.
Sudesh asks Kusum if she told the truth to Mangal. Kusum says she tried to reveal it twice, but it didn’t happen. She worries that Mangal will leave home if she learns about Adit’s affair. She tells Sudesh that these issues will ruin their grandchildren’s lives. She asks Sudesh if he wants Mangal and Adit to separate. Sudesh says he doesn’t want their family to break apart. Kusum assures him that Adit will change and asks him to give Adit some time. Sudesh agrees. Mangal arrives and tells Kusum that she made arrangements for the pooja. Kusum asks Mangal to get ready for the pooja, and Mangal leaves.
Soumya places the divorce papers in Adit’s bag, thinking that once Adit gets Mangal’s signature, he will marry her. Later, Adit returns home and tells Kusum he arrived in time for the pooja. He goes to get ready. In the room, Adit calls Soumya and tells her he’s tired of the rituals. Soumya assures him that he will soon get rid of Mangal and mentions she placed the divorce papers in his bag. Akshat opens Adit’s bag for his drawing book and spills water on it. Mangal takes the papers and cleans them. Adit comes to the hall, retrieves the papers from Mangal, and speaks to her calmly. Kusum tells Sudesh that Adit is changing. Adit places the divorce papers back in the bag but drops one on the floor.
Gayatri hears Karthik’s car and realizes he has come home. She acts like she is working in the kitchen and feels dizzy while preparing the prashad in front of R Karthik. Karthik asks why she didn’t ask Lakshmi for help. Gayatri explains that Lakshmi hasn’t returned from the market. Karthik feels Lakshmi was wrong for not staying with his mother.
Adit, on a call, tells Soumya not to give him this kind of stress. He promises to find a way to get rid of Mangal after everything settles. He ends the call. Soumya decides to get Mangal’s signature without her knowing.
Lakshmi goes to Shanti’s house. Shanti taunts Lakshmi for creating problems for Mangal. Lakshmi insists that she never intended to cause any issues for Mangal. She resolves to find out who Soumya’s real boyfriend is.
