The episode starts with Kalikant asking Jagriti to shut up. He then tells Jamuna to lock Jagriti in the cow shed and to keep Chitta away from the cow from which he drinks milk. Ganga asks Kalikant to leave Jagriti alone, as she is just a child. Kalikant comments on Jagriti, saying he doesn’t like anyone who interferes in his decisions, and then leaves. Suraj takes Akash to school while Jamuna takes Jagriti away. Akash pretends to have sprained his ankle, and Ganga asks him if he is alright. Akash claims he sprained his ankle because Suraj pulled him really hard and insists he will not go to school today. Ganga sends Suraj to school and says Akash will not go today. Jagriti is shown locked in the cow shed, asking God what wrong she did, as she only wanted an education.
Bindi tries to convince Harish to rethink his decision about saving Jagriti. However, Harish remains steadfast in his determination to save her, stating he will do whatever it takes. Bindi reminds Harish that his decision could lead to the entire Chitta community being destroyed. Harish replies that he doesn’t care about the Chitta community. Raka asks Harish how he plans to save Jagriti in his condition. Harish explains that before Jagriti left, she made a wheelchair for him, allowing him to go anywhere. He asserts that if he cannot save Jagriti with this, he will be ashamed of himself. Raka offers to help him as a friend, mentioning that he doesn’t want this life for his children either.
Akash approaches Jagriti and tells her he will help her escape. Jagriti asks why he would do that. Akash reminds her of what Ganga told them and states that it is wrong to put an animal or a person in a cage. Jagriti doubts that Akash will be able to do it, but he urges her to trust him.
Kalikant’s mother urges him to send the Chitta girl away from their home. She reminds him that he is bathing with Gangajal to purify himself after visiting the Chitta community, and bringing a Chitta girl into their home will desecrate it. Kalikant explains to his mother that there is a reason for bringing Jagriti here—she is the daughter of Harish and Geeta. He reveals that Solanki has turned against him and sees Jagriti as a weapon against Solanki that he can use at the right moment.
Akash approaches Jamuna and asks her for the blue file that Kalikant is requesting. Seeing Jamuna distracted, he steals the cow shed keys from her. He takes the blue file and leaves. Later, Akash returns to Jagriti, saying he has brought the keys and will get her out right away.
Raka hides Harish’s wheelchair under a gunny sack and tells Durjan he will go to Kalikant’s house, as Kalikant’s men have asked them to bring all the birds. Durjan agrees. Ballu asks Raka why he hid the birds under the gunny sack, and Raka explains that a new police officer has arrived, and there is thorough checking. Durjan hears this and allows Raka to leave.
Bindi asks Harish to feed some food to Jagriti. Harish tells Bindi that she needs to help him because this is a big war. Bindi expresses her concern that they will fail if they go without a proper plan. Harish insists he must do this for Jagriti.
Ganga stops Akash from opening the cow shed and asks what he is doing. Akash responds that he is doing what she taught him that it is wrong to lock someone in a cage. Ganga gives the keys back to Jamuna and sends her away. Akash questions Ganga about why she stopped him. Ganga explains that she is ensuring nothing happens to Jagriti or him. She gives an example, saying that to do the right thing, they should wait for the right time. Ganga takes Akash away from there, while Jagriti silently pleads for Harish to come and save her.
