Mangal Lakshmi 10th October 2024 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode starts with Mangal and Karthik helping Lakshmi rest on the bed. Karthik wonders why Lakshmi tried to get out of bed. Sanjana tells Gayatri that it might be due to encouragement. Gayatri asks Sanjana what she means. Sanjana reminds Gayatri how she told Lakshmi yesterday that she should recover soon and stand on her feet so that she wouldn’t be a burden to Karthik. Gayatri defends herself, saying she was just encouraging Lakshmi to get better soon. Karthik asks Gayatri to let Lakshmi recover at her own pace. Hurt by his words, Gayatri says she will no longer say anything to him or his wife and leaves. Karthik apologizes to Mangal, worrying she might think they aren’t taking good care of Lakshmi. Mangal reassures him, saying she would never think that. Meanwhile, Lakshmi notices Indu placing her purse in the cupboard. When Indu sees Lakshmi watching her, she asks if Lakshmi wants to say something but leaves as Gayatri calls her.
Lakshmi decides to communicate with Mangal by writing. She signals Karthik to get her a pen and paper. Karthik brings them, and Lakshmi painstakingly writes “d” and “I.” Karthik and Mangal don’t understand what Lakshmi is trying to say and tell her she can explain tomorrow. Lakshmi becomes stressed, so Karthik gives her a tablet to help her sleep. He explains to Mangal that the doctor prescribed it to calm Lakshmi if she feels stressed. Mangal wonders what Lakshmi was trying to tell her.
Adit asks Sowmya why she asked him to wear a purple shirt. Sowmya replies that she scheduled a Pooja, and purple symbolizes auspiciousness and blessings. Adit sarcastically comments on this, but Sowmya suggests they should also get their marriage date fixed today. Adit agrees.
Gayatri sees Karthik accidentally cut his finger while preparing something for Lakshmi and becomes worried, calling for the servants as she tends to his wound. Karthik reassures her, saying he wanted to do something for Lakshmi because he can’t bear to see her like this. Gayatri, concerned, thinks Lakshmi must recover soon for Karthik’s sake, as he seems to be suffering emotionally.
Sowmya and Adit are shown performing Pooja at a temple. Sowmya tells the Pandit they are going to get married and asks him to perform the Pooja to ensure their marriage goes well. A person accidentally pours water on the Havan fire, and the Pandit declares it extremely inauspicious. He asks Adit and Sowmya if they checked their horoscopes before planning their marriage. Sowmya attributes the incident to someone’s evil eye. The Pandit agrees it could be possible and says he will get his Pooja book. He leaves.
Mangal arrives at the temple to pray for Lakshmi’s well-being. Adit spots Mangal and hides from her. Later, Adit and Sowmya leave without Mangal noticing them.
The Pandit returns and asks Mangal if she saw two people there, mentioning that the man was wearing a purple shirt. Mangal suspects it could be Adit but dismisses the thought, thinking he should be at the office. Meanwhile, Lakshmi wakes up and writes the word “divorce” in the book with great effort.
Sowmya asks Adit why he is still scared of Mangal, as they are soon going to be married. Adit asks Sowmya to understand, explaining that if Kusum finds out, she will emotionally manipulate him and create problems for their marriage. Sowmya agrees. As Adit hugs Sowmya, he sees a flash of light and gets out of the car, thinking someone took a picture of them. However, he finds no one. Sowmya accidentally drops her perfume in Adit’s bag. She gets out of the car and suggests it might have been a reflection, asking Adit not to worry. A person in a hoodie is shown hiding in the bushes as Adit leaves.
Karthik tells Lakshmi he made soup for her. Lakshmi hopes he will see what she wrote. Karthik notices the book.
Adit returns home. Mangal asks if he went to the temple, as there is Tilak on his forehead. Adit lies, saying there was a Navaratri Pooja at the office. Later, Mangal finds a woman’s perfume in Adit’s bag.
