The episode begins with Mangal revealing to Adit that Sowmya is pregnant. Adit assumes Mangal is joking and scolds her, but Mangal insists he listen. She shows him the form and tells him he can confirm the truth by visiting Dr. Malini’s clinic. Akshat informs Mangal that Akash’s mother is coming to pick him up, to which Mangal responds calmly. Adit asks Mangal to keep this truth from Kusum, and Mangal assures him she won’t interfere in others’ matters before leaving.
Meanwhile, Jia confronts Gayatri by suddenly stopping her car, causing a cloud of dust. Gayatri, coughing, asks Jia what she is doing. Jia taunts Gayatri about Karthik not caring enough to come for her and instead sending a doctor when she was injured. Jia manipulates Gayatri, demanding she create misunderstandings between Lakshmi and Karthik to make Lakshmi leave him. Gayatri refuses, saying she cannot betray her son. Jia reminds Gayatri of her past deceit and threatens to ruin Karthik’s reputation if she doesn’t comply. Reluctantly, Gayatri agrees.
Adit approaches Sowmya, confused about how such a situation arose. Sowmya reminds him of a night when he was drunk and expresses her distress, saying she isn’t ready to be a mother. Crying, she asks Adit what she should do. Dr. Malini intervenes, stating that Sowmya has been extremely stressed since learning about her pregnancy, which isn’t good for her or the baby. She advises Adit to support Sowmya and calm her down before leaving. Sowmya tearfully tells Adit she has nowhere to go.
Later, Mangal reflects on Dr. Malini’s words as she puts Akshat to sleep and cries silently.
Gayatri notices Lakshmi rearranging Karthik’s wardrobe and asks her to clean out the cabinet, suggesting she discard anything unnecessary. Lakshmi agrees and climbs a ladder to reach the top shelf. Gayatri deliberately shakes the ladder, causing a box to fall. Photos of Karthik and Jia spill out. Picking them up, Gayatri comments that Karthik may not have moved on from Jia, his first love. She tells Lakshmi to burn the photos, but Lakshmi firmly replies that she trusts Karthik. She believes he must have kept them for a reason and doesn’t dwell on it.
Mangal spends a sleepless night working in the kitchen to distract herself.
The next morning, Kusum notices Mangal’s exhaustion and questions if she stayed up all night. Mangal denies it, saying she simply woke up early. Kusum answers a call from Shanti and excitedly shares the news that Sowmya has left their house. Shanti is delighted. Kusum prepares to perform a ritual to ward off the evil eye for Mangal when Sowmya suddenly arrives. Kusum halts the ritual and angrily asks Sowmya why she is there. Adit intervenes, explaining that he brought Sowmya home as she isn’t feeling well.
