The episode starts with Inspector Pratap asking Jagriti to stay away from Amol since she already ruined his clothes. Jagriti says she will clean the stain immediately and leaves.
Kalikant asks the Chitta people why they aren’t saying anything. Kalikant tells Amol that there is a lock on everyone’s mouth, and he holds the key to those locks. Kalikant makes a comment about Amol, but it is shown that Amol refuses Kalikant’s bribe. Amol closes the door and tells Kalikant that if he wants no trouble from him, then Amol wants a partnership in his business.
Kalikant tells Amol they can discuss the partnership. Amol says he will handle the business, and Amol will provide protection for it. He suggests that the partnership be 50:50. Kalikant mentions that he has to take care of the Chitta people as well. Amol then suggests a 65:35 split. Kalikant agrees, and the two strike a deal.
Geeta, looking in the mirror, tells herself that she must stop being emotional and focus on her career.
Jagriti brings water to clean the stain on Amol’s clothes and sees Amol and Kalikant shaking hands. Jagriti confronts Amol, asking why he has joined forces with Kalikant and whether he’s going to save her and Harish. Kalikant tells Jamuna to take Jagriti away, and Jamuna complies.
Harish pleads with Kalikant to punish him if he wants but begs him not to harm Jagriti. Amol taunts Harish, threatening to throw him in jail for the truck they caught. Raka intervenes, offering to take the blame and go to jail. Kalikant adds that the judge won’t believe that someone with a broken back could have driven the truck. Amol agrees. Jagriti pleads with Amol to save her, but Amol mockingly cleans the stain on his clothes with Jagriti’s frock and leaves with Raka.
Durjan asks Kalikant if there are any orders. Kalikant makes a comment about Jagriti and instructs Durjan to take Harish away but keep him alive. He reminds Harish that his daughter is in Kalikant’s hands, and if Harish tries anything, Kalikant will kill her. Durjan agrees.
Jagriti asks Durjan how she will be able to earn Rs 100 for Harish if she stays here. Durjan mocks her for worrying about money at a time like this and reminds her that Raka has gone to jail for Harish, and Raja’s wife is pregnant—who will take care of her? Jagriti says she will earn money for Raka’s wife as well. Durjan tells Jagriti to shut up and follow Kalikant’s orders. Jagriti agrees but says she wants money in return. Kalikant agrees to give her money, but only if she accepts and completes a challenge from him every day. Jagriti agrees. Durjan and the Chitta people leave. Kalikant warns Jagriti not to attempt anything or he will kill her father if she tries to get an education again.
Kalikant’s mother makes Jagriti undergo a purifying ritual before she can enter the house. After the ritual, Kalikant’s mother allows Jagriti to enter. Jagriti is given a new dress and a broom, while Geeta wears the Magistrate’s dress.
