The episode starts with Baani requesting Nakul to help her arrange a lawyer to save Rajat. Nakul tells her the lawyer’s fee will be high in such cases, but Baani assures to arrange money. So Nakul assures her to send a lawyer to the court. He then asks Mahir to send his junior to court, saying no one can stand against Dhanraj Anand. Meanwhile, Baani recalls everything that happened. She gets determined to prove Rajat’s innocence. Just then, Gini returns home. She feels weak, so Gaurav takes her inside. Baani informs Poonam that she has arranged a lawyer with the help of Nakul.
In court, Baani pleads with the lawyer to help her bail Rajat out. The lawyer tells her that she should pay his fees first, but Baani convinces him by paying a small amount as his fees. The lawyer goes inside to do paperwork while Gaurav suspects the lawyer’s ability, but Baani assures Gaurav. Baani’s parents come in support of Baani and Rajat. Later, inside the courtroom, Dhanraj orders his lawyer to make sure that Rajat doesn’t get bail. Dhanraj glares at Baani and Rajat. Baani gives an assuring sign at Rajat. Poonam cries, but Bhishan asks her to show support to Rajat by being brave in front of Rajat. Poonam obliges.
Rajat’s case hearing begins once the judge arrives. Dhanraj’s lawyer, Mr.Khurana, accuses Rajat of attempting to murder Rohan because of which Rohan is in a coma. But Rajat’s lawyer requests the judge to give a chance to prove Rajat’s innocence because whatever happened with Rohan is purely an accident. Both the lawyers get into an argument. Baani stands up and defends Rajat. So she gets reprimanded by the judge. He also asks Baani to say what she wants to tell her by coming into the witness box. Baani agrees. She explains to the judge about the incident that took place in front of her. She states that Rajat had a fight with Rohan and his friends, but when they both ran away, Rohan made a mistake of not looking forward cause of the accident. She pleads with the judge to believe her words and release Rajat, who is innocent. Mr.Khurana passes crude remarks against Baani’s education skills, so the judge warns him. Mr.Khurana apologises to the judge. He then questions Baani, and he confuses her with his questions. The judge sends Rajat to a seven day judicial custody shocking everyone. Baani and the entire family break down.
Outside the courtroom, Rajat encourages Baani not to lose hope. He also asks Baani and his family not to never disclose Gini’s name at any cost, then he leaves in a police van. Baani then requests her lawyer to put more effort into bailing Rajat out, but he rudely behaves, and then he leaves. So, the family members advise Baani to hire some other lawyer. Baani agrees. Later, the Khanna’s reaches home. Aastha has a conversation with Shilpa about the struggle Baani has to face to prove Rajat’s innocence. Then she blames Gini for Rajat’s state. Afterwards, Shilpa also reminds Gini that her fault put Rajat and Baani’s life in trouble. Gini cries. There, Baani and Gaurav try to convince lawyers to accept Rajat’s case, but no one agrees. Baani then contacted Navjyot to inquire about Rohan’s state. The latter informs her that Rohan is still in a coma. Baani hears Dhanraj’s plan to hire the best lawyer, so she decides to hire the same lawyer at any cost.
Precap: Baani and Gaurav get shocked learning the lawyer fee is ten lakh through the lawyer’s office assistant. Later, the entire family gets shocked learning through Baani about the lawyer’s fee. Meanwhile, Rajat gets beaten up by the cops in the prison.
