The episode starts with Harish noticing that Jagriti went to meet Kalikant since she came back from school with him.
Bindi comes to Amol’s house looking for Jagriti. She asks Amol if Jagriti came here looking for Geeta. Amol tells Bindi that Geeta left for school to drop off Sapna and that Jagriti hasn’t come here. Amol flirts with Bindi and tries to force himself on her. Bindi tells Amol that if Geeta met Jagriti at school, there will be no use in bringing them together. Hearing this, Amol lets Bindi leave, and she walks out.
Kalikant tells everyone that today he made a decision that will benefit both parties. He announces that Jagriti will be admitted to school. The parents oppose Kalikant’s decision. Kalikant asks them to listen to him. He says Jagriti will get an education at school, but she will not sit with the other children; she will sit on the floor. Geeta opposes Kalikant’s decision, telling him that by doing this, he is encouraging discrimination against Jagriti. Kalikant comments on Geeta and asks if she doesn’t want Jagriti to have an education. Geeta disagrees and expresses her objections. She also advises Jagriti not to accept Kalikant’s decision. Bindi intervenes and tells Geeta not to interfere in Jagriti’s matter. She says they will accept Kalikant’s decision. Geeta tells Jagriti not to accept it and says it is not good for her. Jagriti, however, accepts Kalikant’s decision and tells Geeta that getting an education is important to her, whether it’s on the floor or sitting with everyone else. She thanks Geeta for allowing her to get an education and asks her not to interfere, as her mother, Bindi, and father, Harish, support her.
Jagriti touches Akash and tells him she knows he is being forced to do this. Suraj pushes Jagriti down for touching Akash. Kalikant tells Suraj not to do that in front of the media. Jagriti gets up and tells Suraj that she knows he pushed her because he is upset that she got her right today—education. She asks Suraj to watch as she is going to get an education and “touch the sky.” Jagriti walks away.
Harish asks Bindi where her earring is. Bindi remembers she might have dropped it at Amol’s house and goes to retrieve it.
Kalikant tells the principal that he needs to make Jagriti’s life a living hell at this school, and she will be forced to leave. The principal agrees.
Jagriti enters Akash’s class. The kids comment that Jagriti is not worthy of staying in this class. Suraj asks the teacher to test Jagriti to see if she can remain in the class. The class teacher agrees. Jagriti accepts the challenge.
The principal tells Harish that he needs to pay Rs. 5000 a month as the school fee.
