Episode starts with the conversation between Sayali and Sachin. Sachin becomes emotional after recalling the childhood days when he used to get the humiliating behaviour from his other family members. Akash and Tejas used to get all the love and care from his mother but he was always the neglect child. But this time Sayali wants to include his husband so that he would also join the rituals. Sayali says she wants to make some lamps which will be made of soil and she needs the help of Sachin. They together make few lamps from the soil, the process makes them joyous. The also pull each other’s leg while they were making the lamps. He also wants to lighten up all those lamp.
On the same evening, all the family members join the Diwali programme. Paresh suggests Sayali to the choose a gift at first because she is the elder daughter in law of this house but Renuka wants to prioritises Roshni over Sayali. She also insults Sayali who has made the soil lamp instead of bringing the expensive gives for others. But Renuka doesn’t give up on Roshni and again demotivates Sayali to join the programme. This time Sachin raises his voice when his wife doesn’t get the proper respect from his mother.
Riya is asked by Akash to bring their gifts. Finally, Riya starts the game and she wants to upgrade some furniture up this house. The new efforts make everyone surprised.
