The episode starts with the host announcing that today, Ravan Ka Dahan will be done by Adit and Mangal. Akshat sees that Karthik and Lakshmi have also come to watch the event.
Mangal sees Lakshmi and asks Karthik if he helped Lakshmi get ready. Mangal compliments Karthik, saying he made Lakshmi look great. Karthik thanks Mangal. Lakshmi looks at Mangal, feeling happy, and wonders if she has not yet received the divorce papers. The host asks Adit and Mangal to prepare for Ravan Ka Dahan.
The blackmailer puts on a mask and approaches Mangal. The blackmailer says to Mangal that he hopes the “Ravan” in her life will disappear. Mangal asks the man who he is and why he is speaking like that. The blackmailer leaves.
Adit later follows the man. The blackmailer confronts Adit. Adit asks the blackmailer why he spoke to Mangal in that manner. The blackmailer tells Adit that he wanted to remind him that he can expose him to his family at any time. Adit receives a call from Sowmya but tells her he is busy and will talk later. The blackmailer leaves. Sowmya decides to give the sacred thread to Adit before 7:20 p.m., no matter what.
Daksh removes the mask and reveals himself to Adit. Adit is shocked to see that the blackmailer is none other than Daksh. Adit asks Daksh why he is blackmailing him. Daksh tells Adit that ever since he made him Sowmya’s boyfriend, he has faced a lot of trouble and even had to leave Delhi. Daksh demands compensation for the loss he suffered. Adit says he doesn’t have the money and asks Daksh for more time. Daksh demands whatever money Adit has on him at that moment. Adit pulls out some cash from his wallet, and a diamond ring falls out. Daksh takes the ring, gives Adit more time, and leaves. Mangal sees Daksh talking to Adit from a distance. Adit leaves afterward.
Mangal confronts Daksh, asking him what he is doing there and about his marriage to Sowmya. Daksh denies having any relationship with Sowmya and tells Mangal to stop bothering him before leaving. Mangal is left confused.
Kusum approaches Mangal and asks her to perform the Ravan Ka Dahan alone, as Adit cannot be found. Mangal agrees at Kusum’s insistence.
Mangal performs the Ravan Ka Dahan ritual. Lakshmi touches Mangal’s hand. Mangal tells Lakshmi that she is confused about Sowmya’s situation. Lakshmi, in her mind, says that Sowmya doesn’t have a boyfriend and reflects on the situation.
Sowmya pulls Adit aside. Adit asks what she’s doing there. Sowmya says the Pandit asked her to tie a sacred thread to him, and she does so. Adit tells her to leave, but Sowmya reminds him that today is their engagement and places a ring on his finger, asking for her own ring. Adit tells her that Daksh blackmailed him and took the ring. Sowmya asks why he didn’t stop Daksh. Adit explains that if Daksh revealed the truth to Mangal, Mangal would have told Kusum, and Kusum would have emotionally blackmailed him into not marrying Sowmya. Sowmya agrees and reflects on the situation. She then tells Adit that the Pandit has set their wedding date for Karwa Chauth.
Later, at home, Mangal offers Prashad to Adit. Adit takes off the ring and accepts the Prashad. Mangal asks Adit why he was talking to Daksh, as he and Sowmya are not getting married. Adit makes up an excuse. Mangal tells Adit not to talk to Daksh, and Adit agrees.
