The episode starts with Sapna falling to the floor after she knocks over Jagriti’s tray of drinks. Seeing this, Jagriti comments on Sapna’s actions and asks her not to repeat such behavior. Jagriti offers her hand to help Sapna get up. After getting up, Sapna pushes Jagriti onto Akash and then shouts for her father.
Bindi tells Ratna that she can’t afford to lose Jagriti. Nanda arrives and scolds Ratna and Bindi for going to court without informing anyone. Both Bindi and Ratna apologize to Nanda. Nanda declares that they will be punished for their actions. She says they will not be given any food or water for three days and orders them to stay in the house. Nanda locks Ratna and Bindi inside the house and leaves.
Amol asks Sapna how she got injured. Sapna accuses Jagriti of pushing her. Avadhesh whispers to his wife that Jagriti is the daughter of Geeta and Harish. Avadhesh’s wife warns him not to bring up this matter again. Jagriti insists that Sapna is lying and says she only helped her after she fell. Jagriti also comments on the situation. Akash supports Jagriti, saying that she is telling the truth. Kalikant tells Akash to be quiet and asks Ganga to take him away.
Kalikant then asks Sapna to punish Jagriti for her mistake. Kalikant’s mother instructs Jamuna to fetch a stick, and Jamuna complies. Sapna takes the stick and orders Jagriti to extend her hand. Jagriti questions why she should be punished for something she didn’t do. Kalikant responds that Jagriti’s only mistake is that she is a Chitta. Sapna strikes Jagriti’s hand with the stick, and Jagriti screams in pain. At the same time, Geeta is also shown to be in pain. Sapna and her family then leave.
Akash takes Jagriti to his room and tells her that there are many books she can read to get an education. He offers to help her, and Jagriti agrees. Akash notices the wound on Jagriti’s hand and leaves to get medicine for her.
Jamuna finds Jagriti in Akash’s room and drags her out. Jagriti tries to explain that it was Akash who brought her there, but Jamuna refuses to listen.
When Akash returns to his room, he doesn’t find Jagriti. Suraj arrives and notices Akash holding the medicine meant for Jagriti. Suraj teases Akash, asking if he should inform Kalikant and their grandmother that he’s concerned about Jagriti. Akash pleads with Suraj not to tell anyone. Suraj agrees, but in return, he demands a favor and leaves.
Nanda visits Bindi and Ratna. Bindi asks if Nanda is going to punish them again. Nanda says she will forgive them, but only if they agree to her condition. Nanda explains that Harish has not given up on rescuing Jagriti from Kalikant’s house. She tells Bindi that she needs to convince Harish to change his mind. If she does, Durjan will go to Kalikant and plead for Jagriti’s release. Bindi agrees.
Jagriti tells Kalikant’s mother that she didn’t go to Akash’s room on her own and tries to explain. Kalikant’s mother reassures her, saying they believe her. She then gives Jagriti a new challenge for the day, which is to milk the cow. Jagriti agrees.
Jamuna notices that Jagriti is in pain from her hand injury. She tries to comfort her by saying there’s a belief in their region: if a teacher’s stick strikes your hand, it means you will receive an education. Jamuna adds that since it was the principal’s stick that Sapna used, it means Jagriti will soon be educated.
