The episode starts with Suman falling on Rishi’s dead body, asking him to wake up. Suman reminds Rishi that he promised he would always stay with her. The pandit tells Suman that it is time to perform Rishi’s last rites. Teerth pulls Suman away.
Kritika tells everyone that today is her Mu Dikhai ritual and comments on it. Chandrakanth asks Devika to take Kritika inside, and Devika agrees. Devika tries to take Kritika into her room, but Kritika refuses. Kritika asks all the guests to see her face and to give her gifts, as today is her Mu Dikhai ritual.
Chandrakanth’s sister asks Geetanjali to check Rishi’s kundali since he married Suman, and the person he wanted to marry has gone mad. Chandrakanth tells his sister to stop. Devika informs Geetanjali and Chandrakanth that Kritika has gone through trauma. Devika explains that the same thing happened when their mother died. She mentions that the doctor advised her not to tell the truth to Kritika while she is in trauma. Devika pleads with Teerth’s parents to allow Kritika to participate in the Mu Dikhai ritual. Devika bows her head and begs them. Geetanjali suspects whether Kritika is truly mentally ill or if both sisters are putting on an act. Chandrakanth reassures Devika, saying Kritika’s Mu Dikhai ritual will take place today.
The pandit asks Teerth to perform Rishi’s last rites. Suman pleads with Teerth to allow her to perform Rishi’s last rites, stating she is not only his sister but also his best friend. The pandit objects. Teerth asks the pandit to allow Suman to perform the last rites, as she takes care of their house.
Chandrakanth’s sister asks Devika to give blessings in Kritika’s ear, stating it is considered auspicious. Devika agrees. Devika whispers to Kritika in her ear about the power of sympathy. Devika reminds Kritika how Suman was hated by everyone in the house yesterday, but when they learned that Rishi was dead, they felt sorry for her. Devika tells Kritika that she also needs to do the same.
Devika explains that Kritika needs to make Teerth’s family feel guilty for leaving her at the mandap. Kritika agrees. Kritika asks Devika’s daughter to give her gifts. Devika’s daughter says she can’t give her gifts because Kritika is not Teerth’s wife. Kritika gets angry and pushes her. Guru tells Devika to handle Kritika; otherwise, she will forget that Kritika is her sister. Geetanjali comments on what kind of person would push a child like that. Kritika responds that she will.
Gajendar arrives and says they are responsible for Kritika’s condition. Chandrakanth asks Gajendar what they did. Gajendar reminds Chandrakanth that they left Kritika at the mandap. Chandrakanth calls for some men, telling Kritika that these men are better than Teerth and asking her to choose one of them. Gajendar introduces them one by one. Kritika tells Gajendar that she is already married and that Teerth is her husband. Gajendar insists that Teerth is not her husband and urges Kritika to accept the truth. Gajendar then declares, “To hell with Teerth.”
Chandrakanth reminds Gajendar that he has remained silent until now because Teerth is at fault and warns that if he speaks out against Teerth again, he will throw him out. Gajendar argues with Chandrakanth, saying he will destroy Teerth.
Suman performs the last rites for Rishi, with Teerth helping her.
