The episode begins with Sanju noticing Daima taking lemon water, which raises his concerns for Parvati. He wants to go after her, but Gurinder stops him and makes him sit on the stage for engagement. Neeti arrives, and Gurinder asks her where she has been before making her sit beside Sanju. While Sanju is worried about Parvati, Neeti is anxious, thinking about Rakesh. Bebe inquires where Neeti and Sanju have been and who they are searching for. Neeti replies that she is looking for Parvati, questioning how her engagement can happen without her. Sanju anxiously waits for Parvati to stop the engagement, and then he sees her approaching.
Monty asks Sanju if he is sure that his plan will work. Sanju confidently assures him that it will. Parvati instructs the Pandit to start the engagement, shocking Sanju. Parvati thinks to herself, “I know what you’re going through, Sanju, but this is necessary.” Rakesh observes Parvati from upstairs, waiting for her to admit that she is Pari. He believes that once she confesses, he will take her away, becoming a great person who can provide her with happiness.
The Pandit asks Sanju and Neeti to exchange rings, but Sanju remains transfixed on Parvati. Parvati reflects on Sanju’s earlier confession as she walks toward the stage. Neeti starts to doubt Sanju’s intentions. Parvati urges Sanju to place the ring on Neeti’s finger, as she is eagerly waiting. Sanju reminisces about his moments with Parvati. Rakesh is taken aback, expecting Parvati to stop the engagement by admitting she is Pari. Neeti then places the ring on Sanju’s finger, and everyone applauds them. Parvati glances upward, noticing Rajesh hiding. She wonders why she feels as if someone is watching her.
Everyone encourages Sanju to make Neeti wear the ring, but he drops it when he sees Parvati feeling dizzy. He quickly rushes to support her, but Parvati insists that he let her go. The Pandit reminds Sanju that their auspicious time is running out. Parvati leaves with Daima, and Sanju thinks to himself that Parvati must not be in her right mind, which is why she isn’t stopping the engagement. Neeti hands the ring back to him.
Just as Sanju is about to place the ring on Neeti’s hand, the arrival of the police interrupts the engagement. Rakesh makes his exit. Meanwhile, he plans to take Pari with him for sure. Sanju introduces himself to the inspector, but the inspector informs him that they are there to arrest him. Sanju and his family ask the police for an explanation. The inspector replies that he will explain everything at the station. Ambika accuses Sanju of molesting her daughter, shocking everyone. Sanju is bewildered by the accusation and asks how she can claim that. Ambika insists she can prove it, and Sanju challenges her to do so.
