The episode starts with Ramesh telling Sapna that she can ask him for anything and that he wants to buy her daughter. Sapna asks Ramesh what he is talking about and reminds him that this is her neighborhood, and he will not be able to leave easily. A crowd forms around Sapna as she complains to them about how Ramesh is asking her to sell her daughter. Ramesh asks the crowd to calm down and speaks to Sapna. He tells her that she felt bad only because of what he said and reminds her that she already sold Anjali’s dignity for a flat, a bungalow, and sarees.
Ramesh explains to Sapna that while an injury to the body will heal, the injury to the soul will not. He emphasizes that the body will die, but the soul will endure. Ramesh urges Sapna to allow Anjali to go to court and fight Padma’s case, stating that he knows Anjali will win. He asks Sapna if she would not be happy if Anjali won in court and brought justice to an innocent person. Ramesh apologizes to Sapna for what he has done, saying he only acted this way to help her realize her mistake, and then he leaves.
Later, at home, Sapna reflects on Ramesh’s words. She sees Anjali packing her law books and asks her what she is doing. Anjali replies that they need money to pay the grocery store owner, and if she sells these books, she can get some money. Sapna refuses to allow that. Anjali insists that if she sees the books, they will only remind her of her loss. Sapna shows Anjali Padma’s case file and asks her what she plans to do about it. She questions whether Anjali will not seek justice for Padma. Anjali asks Sapna if she is the one speaking, to which Sapna confirms she is. Sapna tells Anjali that she has realized her mistake after meeting someone named Ramesh Bhai Patil, who helped her see things clearly. Sapna asks Anjali to promise that she will win this case. Anjali assures her that she will win and adds that now that Sapna is with her, no one can defeat her.
Pankaj tells Anjali that he knew she was going to fight this case and that Sapna would give her permission. Anjali informs Pankaj that she needs his help to win. Pankaj agrees and advises Anjali to keep her plans a secret, so when their opponents let their guard down, she can strike. He warns her to be careful as Raghav will be up to his wicked schemes when she reaches the court. Anjali acknowledges this and comments on it.
Anjali observes Sapna waiting for Ganesh to perform the Karwa Chauth ritual and teases her about being romantically hopeful. Aman watches this from a distance.
Kavya also performs the Karwa Chauth ritual for Aman, while Rati does the same for Chandraman after he arrives home.
Ganesh arrives for Sapna, and she completes the Karwa Chauth ritual. Aman sees Ganesh being romantic with his wife and thinks that Anjali is nothing like Ganesh.
