The episode starts with Mahua telling Adrija that they have adopted Meghla. Also, they didn’t regret her for bringing here. She then requests Adrija to give her a promise that she won’t let Meghla or anyone know about this truth. Adrija insists her parents reveal Meghla’s truth to Ranbir’s family, but Chandan firmly refuses, saying it may break her alliance with Ranbir. He then requests Adrija to behave properly with Meghla until she is here. Adrija refuses, saying that she feels Meghla is snatching everything from her. Meghla, who arrives there, gets shocked hearing Adrija’s words. Mahua stops Adrija. She also sees Meghla, so both Mahua and Chandan go to Meghla. They encourage Meghla to go to her Guru Ji. Chandan insists on accompanying Meghla with her to meet Guru Ji. Meghla agrees.
Meghla tells Adrija it’s not her decision to come into this family, but it’s their parents who gave birth to her, so it’s not her fault. Adrija shouts at Meghla in an insulting way. Mahua warns Adrija not to cross her limits. Adrija asks her parents to make sure Meghla realise that they have considered her as a part of family out of pity, and then she leaves from there. Chandan requests Meghla to tolerate Adrija until her marriage. Meghla, who is hurt and confused by Adrija’s words so she asks her parents about Adrija’s choice of words. She then asks Mahua if she is her biological mother, right? Mahua lies to Meghla. Also, she distracts Meghla, saying it’s siblings’ rivalry, which happens in every family. Meghla gets convinced. Chandan leaves with Meghla.
Later, Meghla reaches her musical class. She informs Guru Ji about her father waiting for him to speak with him so the latter goes to meet him outside. Chandan informs Guru Ji about Adrija’s marriage being fixed. Also, they have decided to conduct her roka ceremony this Sunday. He invites Guru Ji to be part of it. Guru Ji agrees, saying that he has already gotten puja invitation from Meghla. Chandan insists Guru Ji be part of both puja and Adrija’s roka ceremony because he is their family members. Guru Ji agrees. He then asks Chandan about the guy’s family with whom Adrija’s wedding has been fixed. Chandan tells Guru Ji about Ranbir and his family. Guru Ji gets happy hearing it. They both then hear Meghla’s practice. Chandan requests Guru Ji to take care of Meghla, informing him about Adrija’s fight. Guru Ji assures him. He also tells Chandan he is uncomfortable taking part it marriage rituals, so he may leave earlier. Chandan says that he will not pressurise Guru Ji, and then he leaves.
Guru Ji puts his hand on Meghla’s head, which leads her to stop her practising. Guru Ji tells her that her singing distracted him from speaking to Chandan. He then asks her the reason behind being sad. Meghla recalls Adrija’s words, but she hides it from her Guru Ji. She then tells Guru Ji about her change in decision, which makes him happy. He encourages Meghla to prove herself before the sangeet ceremony. Meghla agrees, and then she starts her singing practise again.
Precap: Adrija and Ranbir perform a dance during Durga puja. The organiser announces the next one is Meghla’s performance, so Adrija argues with them, saying her fiancé doesn’t have time.
