Jagriti 21st October 2024 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode starts with Jagriti asking the servant to give her food. Kalikant’s mother knocks Jagriti’s food away with her stick. She tells Jagriti that she will not eat any food until she separates the mustard seeds from the sugar. Kalikant’s mother also warns the servants not to give any food to Jagriti. The servants agree.
Suraj and Akash return home from school. Jagriti decides to seek Akash’s help to see if he knows how to separate the mustard seeds from the sugar.
Jagriti thinks that if anyone asks her, she will tell them she is taking water to Akash’s room. She runs into Akash, but he ignores her and walks away. Jagriti stops him and asks if he knows how to separate sugar from mustard seeds. Akash says he will not help her and tells Jagriti not to talk to him. In his frustration, Akash hits the water, accidentally spilling it into the bowl of mustard seeds and sugar. He then leaves.
At the dining table, Suraj and Akash start commenting on each other. Suraj tells Kalikant how Jagriti made a fool of Akash at school by helping him. He explains what happened and says that Jagriti knows everything. Kalikant wonders how Durjan could have lied to him. He asks his men to call Jagriti.
When Jagriti arrives, Kalikant gives her the same question the school teacher asked and tells her to solve it. Jagriti writes the answer on a piece of paper. Seeing this, Akash gets upset and leaves. Ganga follows him and asks what’s wrong. Akash says he was trying to help Jagriti, but she already knew everything and had told him she didn’t. Ganga suggests there might be a reason for her behavior and asks him to come back.
Kalikant then asks Jagriti where she learned math. Jagriti says she doesn’t even understand what math is. Kalikant, confused, asks how she solved the problem. Jagriti explains that the teacher drew a picture on the blackboard, and she simply saw it and remembered it. To prove her point, she draws the same picture in front of everyone.
Meanwhile, Kalikant learns that the Chitta people have arrived, and he goes to meet them.
Durjan greets Kalikant and tells him that Harish and Bindi’s marriage has been fixed. Durjan asks Kalikant to touch the Haldi with his feet as a blessing. Kalikant does so, and Durjan praises him. Kalikant then leaves.
In the kitchen, Jagriti learns from Jamuna that Harish and Bindi are getting married. Jagriti starts to worry that if Harish marries Bindi, her real mother will have no place when she brings her home. She decides that she can’t let the marriage happen and rushes out of the kitchen. She almost bumps into Kalikant but stops herself just in time and apologizes to him.
Jagriti then sees Durjan and talks to him about Harish and Bindi’s marriage. She says she would like to meet Harish. Jamuna reminds Jagriti that she can’t leave without completing Kalikant’s mother’s task. Durjan assures Jagriti not to worry and says they will not start any rituals before she arrives. Jamuna comments that the task is impossible to complete.
Akash complains to his mother Ganga about Jagriti lying to him, saying she knows everything. Ganga reminds Akash that Jagriti can only remember what she sees and insists that Jagriti doesn’t actually know math. Realizing his mistake, Akash tells Ganga that he ruined Jagriti’s task by spilling water in the bowl of mustard seeds and sugar. Meanwhile, Jagriti sees that, due to the water, the sugar is becoming sticky and the mustard seeds are separating. She silently thanks Akash.
