The episode starts with Durga puja taking place in Sen’s society. Everyone enjoys except Meghla. So Chandan questions her for not enjoying. But Meghla tells him that she is enjoying it. Also, she expresses her low confidence to Chandan, but the latter encourages her to say she is a very good singer and he is proud of her. He further encourages her to participate with everyone in Durga puja. Meghla obliges, and she walks away from there. She recalls Adrija’s words about her birth. She prays God to let her learn the truth.
In Bajwa’s house, the ladies return from shopping. Ranbir teases Meher’s excitement about his roka ceremony. Diljot arrives there. She complains to the family members about her husband not contacting her. Everyone feels bad for Diljot, so they all remain silent. Meanwhile, Adrija’s friends inquire with Adrija about her fiance. Adrija shares with them about Ranbir’s profession and also how he isn’t interested in his family business. Her friends tease Adrija. Meghla hears Adrija and her friends’ conversation. Adrija’s friends noticed Meghla, so they called her to join their conversation. Adrija gets irked, so she insults Meghla when the former friends say that next Meghla is going to get married. Meghla gets hurt by Adrija’s words, but she remains silent.
There, Biji tells her family members that Balraj isn’t ready to approve Ranbir’s choice of Bengali girl. But she tells that she has brought jewellery for Ranbir’s fiance. Ranbir requests Biji not to go against Balraj’s wish, but she clearly tells him that she has every right to spend money because her father is the one who helped Balraj’s business. Meher also supports Biji’s decision. Meanwhile, Adrija tells her friends that Meghla is an abnormal person, so it’s not easy to get her a partner. Her friends get shocked hearing Adrija’s crude remarks. Meghla gets heartbroken.
In the puja place, Mahua expresses her happiness with their neighbours about Adrija’s marriage getting fixed. She also requests them to help her with Adrija’s marriage arrangements. They agrees which makes her happy. Meanwhile, in Bajwa’s house, everyone has a conversation about Ranbir’s roka ceremony. Simran shows the gift that she has brought to Ranbir’s fiance. Param says that he didn’t buy anything to gift Ranbir’s fiance. Ranbir asks him to love them that’s more than enough, but Param teases him, which annoys Ranbir while Meher scolds both Param and Harman. Meher then tells Ranbir about speaking with his fiancé. Ranbir praises Meghla’s character. Simran gives a relationship advice to Ranbir. Harman indirectly mocks her so his mother intervenes and advises them not to argue with each other.
Here, Chandan notices Meghla is standing alone. So he questions her for not participating with everyone. Meghla requests Chandan to tell the truth about her birth as she knows he never lies. Chandan consoles her, saying that both him and Mahua love her the most. He also requests Meghla not to take Adrija’s words at heart. Also, he apologises to her for Adrija’s behaviour. Meghla tells Chandan that she loves Adrija a lot, but she gets deeply hurt by Adrija’s words. She then hugs Chandan.
Precap: Both Adrija and Ranbir perform a dance during Durga puja. Afterwards, Adrija shouts at the organiser’s for making an announcement about Meghla’s performance.
