The episode starts with Adit asking Sowmya why she created a scene in front of everyone. He reminds her that their marriage is not complete. Sowmya replies that a half marriage is enough, and currently, Mangal is in shock after learning about their relationship. She says she will leave the house and let everyone think they are married. She asks Adit to perform the Gruhapravesh ritual with her. Adit refuses, but Sowmya insists.
Everyone bangs on the door and asks Mangal to open it. Mangal recalls her moments with Adit. She packs her luggage in tears and falls down while carrying it. She looks around the room and cries, remembering her moments with Adit, their kids, and her in-laws. Lakshmi panics and asks Mangal to open the door. Karthik tells Lakshmi not to hurt herself. Sowmya tries to do the Gruhapravesh with Adit, but Kusum knocks over the kumkum plate. She warns Sowmya not to enter the house and reminds her that Mangal is their daughter-in-law. Mangal comes out with her luggage, and Kusum pleads with her not to leave the house. She asks Mangal for forgiveness. Sowmya tells Adit that her prediction about Mangal leaving the house is coming true.
Mangal takes Kusum and Sudhesh’s blessings and prepares to leave. Kusum begs Mangal to stay, saying she will die if she leaves. Mangal responds, saying, “Adit tried to marry another woman in front of my eyes. I can’t stay with Adit after he killed my self-respect. So don’t stop me.” She assures Kusum that their mother-daughter relationship will remain the same wherever she stays. Mangal also says she will pick up Ishana from her friend’s house on the way.
Adit stops Mangal and says the kids will stay with him in the house. Mangal asks if he remembers that he has kids. Kusum agrees with Adit, but Sudesh questions if she really wants to separate the kids from their mother. Kusum says Adit has broken her trust, and if anyone has to leave the house, it should be Adit. She tells Adit to leave. Mangal tells Kusum that it’s Adit’s house and that she doesn’t want to separate a mother and son. Kusum says she gave Adit a chance to correct his mistake, but he didn’t take it. She tells Adit to leave with his illegal wife. Adit asks if Kusum is in her senses, and Kusum assures him that she is. She forces Adit out of the house and asks Mangal to stay as her daughter.
Sowmya accuses Mangal of manipulating everyone and turning them against Adit. Mangal says it is Sowmya and Adit who made the mistake. Adit tells Mangal not to cross the line, but Mangal rebukes him, saying she tolerated him for the sake of their relationship and bore his anger, but not anymore. She says she can fight alone and provide a good upbringing for their children. Mangal warns that just as Adit left her, one day he might leave the kids too, so they will stay with her. Adit insists the kids will stay with him, but Kusum tells him not to argue, saying her decision is final. Sudhesh hands Adit his luggage and tells him to leave. Adit, refusing, says he is their son. Kusum asks Karthik to put Adit’s luggage outside, or she will throw it out herself. Karthik places the luggage outside, and Kusum ousts Adit and Sowmya, then closes the door.
