The episode starts with Mangal receiving a call from Lakshmi. Mangal tells Lakshmi that she called at the right time. Mangal explains that she wanted to withdraw money from the bank but doesn’t know what to write on the cheque. Lakshmi reassures Mangal and tells her what to write on the cheque. Mangal writes the cheque and successfully withdraws the money from the bank.
Adit asks Sowmya if Mangal is responsible for everything. Adit says he can’t believe it. Sowmya clarifies that Mangal didn’t do it herself, but made Shanti carry it out. Sowmya tells Adit how Shanti brought a group of women and publicly humiliated her by smearing coal on her face. Adit consoles Sowmya and expresses sympathy for Mangal, saying she must be doing all this because she has nothing else to focus on. Sowmya responds that Mangal is doing it to create conflict between them, so Adit will return to her.
Meanwhile, Akshat is seen dreaming while sleeping at school. He dreams about his father. Akshat wakes up to find that all the children are laughing at him, as he has wet his pants during his sleep.
Mangal receives a call from the principal. She is shocked by what Akshat did at school and rushes to the school.
The principal tells Mangal that Akshat has never acted like this before. She asks Mangal if there is any issue at home. Mangal remains silent. The principal explains that children only behave this way when they are dealing with trauma or excessive stress. She emphasizes that children are the most affected when there are problems at home.
Sowmya asks Adit why he hasn’t answered the call from Akshat’s school. Adit replies that he knows why the school is calling. He assumes the school is just reminding parents to pay the fees. Adit recalls how Mangal said she would take care of Akshat and Ishana without his help. He remarks that he will now see how Mangal manages to pay the school fees.
Shanti confronts Lipika and beats her for getting Mangal’s signature on the divorce papers. Shanti criticizes Lipika for her actions. Lipika asks Shanti to listen and explains that even Sowmya doesn’t know the whole truth.
Akshat asks Mangal where Adit is, saying he wants to talk to his father. Mangal tells him that Adit is out for work. Akshat insists on speaking to Adit. Mangal remains silent. Sudesh and others try to distract Akshat. Lakshmi suggests that Akshat make a card for Adit. Akshat agrees and goes to make the card.
Shanti brings Lipika to Kusum’s house and forces Lipika to confess her mistake in front of everyone. Lipika apologizes to Mangal and reveals that Sowmya pressured her to get Mangal’s signature on the divorce papers. Kusum comments on Lipika’s confession. Lipika then explains that the divorce papers are fake and that even Sowmya is unaware of this. Kusum realizes that the papers she found are real. Lipika confirms that Adit and Mangal are still legally married and urges Mangal to file a case against Sowmya to get Adit back. Mangal refuses to file a case. Kusum encourages Mangal to fight for her rights. Mangal reminds Kusum that Adit has never considered her his wife and comments on the situation.
