The episode starts with everyone applauding for both Megha and Ranbir while Adrija looks furious. Guru Ji meets Ranbir, and he praises the latter’s singing skills. Chandan introduces Ranbir as his son-in-law to Guru Ji. Guru Ji praises Ranbir. He then asks his name. Before Ranbir could answer, Adrija intervened, asking Ranbir why he didn’t tell her about his interest in performing a song. She would’ve arranged a solo performance, but Ranbir declined, saying that he just joined Meghla’s singing nothing else. He then informs Guru Ji that his name is Ranbir Bajwa. He also talks about his family members, including Diljot’s name shocking Guru Ji. He further confirms the entire family will take part in the roka ceremony. Just then, a few of Sen’s society people ask Meghla’s parent’s to introduce them to Ranbir. But Ranbir decides to leave, but Adrija insists on having food. Guru Ji also decides to leave. Meghla goes to drop him. Guru Ji decides not to take part in the roka ceremony by making excuses about his health to Meghla. So Meghla gets worried. But Guru Ji assures her. He then lost in thought about his past.
The FB shows in which a young Diljot and Meghla’s musical teacher practising songs in front of other students. They all appreciate both of their singing and then leaves. Afterwards, both Diljot and Guru Ji have a conversation about their marriage. Diljot decides to elope with him if Balraj doesn’t approve their relationship. Guru Ji asks Meghla whether Ranbir’s family members wholeheartedly accepted this alliance. Meghla informs him that Balraj isn’t approving. Guru Ji recalls Diljot informing Balraj of opposing their relationship. Also, she decides to marry him, which the former also agrees. At present, Meghla gets worried about seeing Guru Ji’s behaviour, so she tries to understand what’s bothering him, but the latter assures her he is fine. He then asks Meghla to spend time with others who are her age. Meghla lovingly warns him not to call himself as an old man, saying he is still young and handsome, which brings a smile on Guru Ji’s face. They both further have a conversation about Bajwa’s interest in music. Also, Meghla’s possibility to sing during Adrija and Ranbir’s wedding. She insists Guru Ji be her partner, which makes the latter helpless. He convinces Meghla, and then he leaves from there.
Here, Ranbir tells Adrija and her parents that he will visit them the next day for sure. Adrija goes with Ranbir to drop him. She compliments Ranbir’s looks. Ranbir also gives her compliments, which makes her happy. He then gets happy seeing Meghla there. Meghla sees Ranbir and Adrija. She interacts with Ranbir, so Adrija sends her inside, saying Mahua is calling her. Later, Mahua and Chandan explain to Meghla that no one has called her, which confuses Meghla more. They all then have a conversation with the society people about Adrija’s roka ceremony arrangements. Adrija arrives there and warns Meghla to stay away from Ranbir. Both Mahua and Chandan take Meghla’s side. At night, Meghla looks disturbed, recalling Adrija’s behaviour towards her, so she requests Chandan to disclose what they are hiding it from her. Chandan looks shocked.
