The episode starts with Baani coming out of Nakul’s cabin, recalls his words, and breaks down. She then speaks with Gaurav on the call, who informs her about Bebe’s demand so Baani agrees to meet him. Meanwhile, the kids inform Poonam about Bhishan’s act when they go shopping. The latter scolds Bhishan. Poonam then expresses her joy of celebrating diwali with both Rajat and Baani. Gini also shares her happiness. Aastha says to herself it’s her who is going to celebrate her diwali alone. She then recalls Purab’s advice to use Lavanya in their favour. She hopes that Lavanya has informed Rajat about Baani’s insider trading information.
There, Lavanya persuades Rajat to believe her information about Baani. Also, she shows him the proof she has against Baani. Rajat tells Lavanya that he believes his Baani. Also, he questions Lavanya from where she got this information. Lavanya recalls meeting Aastha. So she denies telling Rajat about it. She also asks him to believe her words. Rajat denies hearing her out. He then receives Baani’s call, who inquires him about having lunch. Rajat tells her he is on his way home. Bebe teases Baani on their way to home. Meanwhile, Rajat firmly tells Lavanya that if he wants any clarification, then he will get it from Baani, so he doesn’t want her to interfere in all this. He warns her to stay away from his personal matter, and then he leaves. Lavanya gets irked.
Baani reaches Khanna’s house with Bebe and Gaurav. She informs them that she is going to the office and leaves. She gets shocked seeing Poonam’s interaction with a cop so she starts taking blame on herself, thinking Nakul sends the cop. But Poonam handles the situation. The cop praises Baani and Poonam’s bond. Baani then leaves for work. Meanwhile, Lavanya meets Nakul in his office. She taunts him about not knowing Baani, who used his insider trading tip, and she has gained some money. Nakul tells her that he knows about this all. Lavanya questions him for not taking any actions against Baani. Nakul laughs and says that he isn’t fool to take those steps because he himself will get caught. He further asks Lavanya not to try to trap him under Divya’s instructions. Lavanya clarifies that she isn’t interested in Nakul and Divya’s personal life. So Nakul ends up sharing with her blackmailing Baani to do his work. Lavanya gets shocked and says Rajat will get caught, which she won’t let it happen. She further says that Rajat belongs to her. Nakul laughs.
Here, Rajat is in dilemma recalling everything that has happened. He then reaches home. He smiles, hearing his family members’ conversation about diwali. Meanwhile, Baani speaks with Nakul, who asks whether she is going to do his work or not. Lavanya, who hears their conversation, thanks Nakul for helping her too with his plan. Later, Baani reaches Rajat’s office. She fails to notice the CCTV outside Rajat’s cabin. But she puts a file to hide her face from the CCTV, which is kept inside the cabin. She then copies the information Nakul wants from her. She apologises to Rajat in her heart. She also refuses to have a video chat with Rajat by giving him an excuse. Rajat advises her. So, she feels Rajat may get to know about her illegal work. She then records a video claiming Rajat’s innocence in case Nakul fails to keep his words.
Precap: Lavanya expresses her happiness to Nakul. Meanwhile, Rajat tells Baani that he wants to speak with her regarding trading, which shocks Baani.
