The episode starts with Rajiv placing dry grass and firecrackers around Nimrit. Rajiv talks to the unconscious Nimrit, saying that he will enjoy watching the firecrackers burn around her and makes a comment about it.
Babita approaches Virat and asks him why he hasn’t transferred the money to the kidnappers yet. Virat responds that they were about to do it. Babita notices that the laptop isn’t even turned on and remarks on it. Dildar asks Babita what she is doing. Babita complains to Dildar that Virat still hasn’t transferred the money to the kidnappers and reveals that she called the London bank and found out Virat has put the money on hold. Virat explains to Babita that there’s no guarantee Rajiv will return Nimrit even if they give him the money and comments on it.
Rajiv puts on the Ravan helmet and approaches the unconscious Nimrit. He tells her that she will burn when Ravan’s body burns. A goon arrives and informs Rajiv that the tempo has arrived. Rajiv instructs him to place Nimrit inside Ravan’s effigy and warns the goons not to speak to the tempo driver. The goons agree and leave.
Rajiv then talks to the tempo driver, giving him instructions on where to take Ravan’s effigy.
Kamiya asks Bhavani why she isn’t excited about the Ravan Dahan like she usually is. Bhavani replies that she’s worried about Nimrit. Kamiya questions Bhavani’s concern for Babita’s daughter and asks if Babita would worry about Amruta in the same situation. Kamiya answers her own question, saying Babita wouldn’t, and would instead celebrate. Bhavani responds by saying that she is not Babita. Kamiya urges Bhavani to become more like Babita, saying this is how the world works.
The Ravan Dahan effigy arrives at Rivera Apartments, with Nimrit hidden inside. Rajiv is also seen arriving at Rivera Apartments. Priyanka calls Rajiv, asking if Virat transferred the money. Rajiv responds negatively and comments on it. Priyanka scolds him, reminding him that he already ruined her plan by letting Amruta escape, but she still wants her money. Rajiv pretends to receive a call and walks away.
Babita questions Virat, asking since when he started caring so much about money. She accuses him of listening to Amruta’s advice not to give the money. Babita makes a snide remark about Amruta and tells her that she won’t get a penny, demanding she leave.
Bhavani agrees with Babita, urging Amruta to come with her, saying she shouldn’t concern herself with these people or their money. Amruta questions what Bhavani is saying, stating that she’s needed here. Bhavani asks Amruta to consider if the Ahuja family would help them if she were in Nimrit’s place. Bhavani concludes that they would never do that and comments on it. Amruta tells Bhavani that Virat was about to save Nimrit but couldn’t because he was stopped, and admits she is partly responsible for Nimrit not being saved.
Wendy challenges Amruta to choose between Bhavani and Virat. Amruta remains silent. Bhavani tells Wendy that she has her answer and leaves. Virat follows Bhavani.
Virat pleads with Bhavani not to be upset with Amruta. Bhavani asks Virat to send Amruta with her, saying that’s all she wants. Virat comments that he only wants Amruta to be happy. Bhavani replies that this will never be possible with him around.
