The episode starts with Ganga throwing Jagriti’s slate into the fire. Jagriti feels distressed seeing it. Kalikant tells Jamuna that Jagriti will have to make all the food that has been ruined. Jamuna agrees.
Kalikant takes BP tablets. Amol asks Kalikant to throw Jagriti out of the house. Kalikant says that mother and son have really troubled him. Amol asks Kalikant what he means. Kalikant makes up a reason for it. Amol insists that the true place of Chitta people lies in jail and asks Kalikant to send Jagriti to jail. Kalikant tells Amol not to worry about Chitta people and says he will handle them. Amol agrees.
Akash sees Jagriti preparing food and asks her who told her she could come and study in front of everyone. Jagriti reminds Akash that he said that. Akash replies that he told Jagriti he would teach her without anyone’s knowledge. He then asks Jagriti if she wants an education. Jagriti says yes. Akash assures her that he will teach her without anyone’s knowledge.
Ganga approaches Jagriti and Akash. Jagriti tells Ganga that she now understands how she feels. She explains that this house is Ganga’s golden cage and comments on it. Ganga responds that some birds make the cage their home due to forced circumstances. She then advises Akash to stay away from Jagriti from today onward, reminding him that if Kalikant finds out about him helping Jagriti, he will be very angry.
Jagriti recalls Geeta saying that it is wrong if they do anything sneakily. She expresses to Ganga and Akash that she doesn’t want to obtain an education sneakily. Jagriti clarifies that she wants to get an education primarily to wipe off the born criminal stain, but if she has to do it secretly, then it is wrong. She emphasizes that this would also get Akash into trouble, which is why she doesn’t want to pursue education sneakily. Akash tries to speak to Jagriti, but Ganga takes him away.
Jagriti attends the Chitta community’s celebration for Harish and Bindi’s wedding ceremony. Kachori notices Jagriti looking sad and takes her aside to ask what’s wrong. Jagriti reveals that all doors for her education have been closed, attributing this to Kalikant. Kachori responds that it’s a good thing, as now Jagriti will have time to play. Kachori later talks about Geeta, prompting Jagriti to have an idea about getting an education from her. However, Kachori reminds Jagriti of Geeta’s earlier remarks in school and questions why Geeta would agree to teach her.
Meanwhile, Amol and Pratap Singh drink alcohol together. Pratap reveals to Amol that Bindi is not married and mentions that Bindi raised Jagriti. He adds that Bindi’s life lies in Jagriti and tells Amol that if he wants Bindi, he needs to control Jagriti. Amol praises Pratap for his idea but is later cautioned by Pratap that they can’t touch Chitta people without Kalikant’s permission. Amol reassures Pratap that he knows what to do and that Jagriti will make Bindi come to him.
Geeta arrives and asks Amol and Pratap what they are discussing regarding Jagriti. After their conversation, Geeta learns that Jagriti goes to Kalikant’s house and inquires why she does that. Pratap explains that she goes there to pray to Kalikant, as he is like a god to them. Geeta comments on Kalikant, and Amol sends Pratap away before asking Geeta what her problem is. He reminds her that her enquiry commission has given a clean chit to Kalikant and advises her to stop considering investigating him before leaving. Geeta thinks that once she gathers proper evidence against Kalikant, she will be able to investigate him.
In the end, Jagriti tells Kachori that Geeta knows she is a Chitta, but Geeta still mentioned education. This makes Jagriti think that she can only get an education from Geeta.
