The episode starts with Adit opening the door when Mangal bangs on it. Adit asks Mangal what she is doing here. Mangal asks Adit if Akshat is with him and requests to see him. Adit pushes Mangal out of the house, saying Akshat is sleeping and asking her to leave. Mangal insists on meeting Akshat. Adit comments that Mangal didn’t even know Akshat had left school. Mangal says she dropped Akshat at school. Adit remarks that Mangal had claimed she could take care of the kids alone. Mangal reminds Adit that he was the one who left her and married Sowmya. Adit counters by reminding Mangal that she was the one who threw him out of the house. Mangal again asks to see Akshat, but Adit insists Akshat will stay with him and tells her to leave. He then goes back inside and closes the door. Mangal bangs on it, asking Adit to open up, but he doesn’t. She eventually leaves.
After Mangal leaves, Akshat comes to Adit, asking who was at the door. Adit says it was no one. Akshat says he felt like he heard Mangal calling him, but Adit dismisses it as a dream. He then tells Akshat they’ll go to the game zone, and Akshat happily agrees.
Adit prepares to take Akshat to the game zone but suddenly receives a call. He tells Akshat that he has some urgent work and will return in an hour. Akshat agrees.
Adit then informs Sowmya about his errand and asks her to watch Akshat. Sowmya agrees. The electrician, meanwhile, tells Sowmya that the microwave is faulty and warns her not to turn it on as it could explode. He sticks a “Do Not Use” sign on it, but it falls off. Sowmya then leaves.
Mangal tells Kusum and Lakshmi what happened at Adit’s. Kusum advises Mangal not to worry and offers to bring Akshat home. Mangal stops her, saying Akshat misses his father and should stay with Adit for a few days. Kusum agrees.
Later, Sowmya approaches Akshat, telling him to keep his voice down because she has a headache. She then receives a call and informs Akshat that she has to go out for some work, saying she’ll lock the door from the outside. Akshat agrees.
Meanwhile, Karthik offers ice cream to Lakshmi, and they enjoy it together. A woman sees them, feeling jealous. She attempts to run over Lakshmi with her car, but Karthik pulls Lakshmi to safety just in time.
Akshat calls Mangal using the landline and chats with her. He then heads to the kitchen to make chocolate brownies and turns on the microwave. Mangal hears a blast sound over the phone and immediately rushes to Sowmya’s house.
Sowmya runs into some friends, who notice she’s married and ask her to invite them for dinner to meet her husband. Sowmya agrees.
Mangal arrives at Sowmya’s house, breaks open the door, and sees Akshat coming out of the kitchen. She quickly makes him sit in a chair. Soon after, both Adit and Sowmya arrive at the house. Adit goes to Akshat while Mangal gets water for him.
Adit questions Sowmya about leaving Akshat alone. Sowmya defends herself, saying she went out to get ice cream for him and isn’t at fault, suggesting that Akshat shouldn’t have gone into the kitchen and turned on the microwave. Adit criticizes her for leaving him alone. Sowmya points out that Mangal will now likely take Akshat away from him. Akshat overhears this conversation. Mangal gives Akshat water and then takes him home.
Mangal tells Kusum about what happened. Kusum criticizes Adit for leaving Akshat with Sowmya and then leaves. Mangal calls Adit, saying she wants to talk to him and asks him to meet her. Adit agrees.
