The episode starts with Sayali advising Riya that the latter will soon understand. She also gives assurance to Sayali. Riya says that she believes her and Sayali. Renuka assures Mamta about Riya’s well-being. Sachin taunts her so Mamta acts clueless. He then asks Paresh to let Akash and Riya out of the house immediately. He further questions Sayali for giving assurance to Riya. Sayali advises Sachin to forgive. He scolds her. Paresh intervenes and says to Riya that Joy isn’t here even after he has told them clearly about his condition. Riya asks Paresh to ignore Joy, which shocks everyone. Mamta manages the situation. Renuka also does the same. Sachin taunts Riya’s upbringing. He then demands Paresh to throw Akash and Riya out, but the latter rebukes him. He then says that Joy didn’t give value or respect his condition, but he advises Riya to follow the house rules just like his other two daughter-in-laws. Riya agrees with a carefree attitude. Sachin again asks Paresh to make Akash and Riya leave the house, but he stops him. He further advises Riya, but she answers in an unbothered way, which stuns the Deshmukh’s. Akash gets worried. Paresh assures Mamta about Riya’s well-being. The latter leaves afterwards.
Sachin complains to Sayali about Paresh’s decision in front of his family. Riya insults by ignoring him. Sachin gets angry. He warns Sayali. Riya interacts with Roshni. Renuka hugs both Riya and Roshni. Sachin gets annoyed. Akash takes Riya with him inside. Both Renuka and Roshni pass a comment on Riya’s attitude. Later, Renuka scolds Sayali for not making arrangements for Riya’s first post wedding ritual. Sayali assures her about the arrangements.
Akash brings Riya from upstairs. Roshni and other families also arrive there except Sachin. Renuka gives instructions to Riya about her first post wedding ritual. Riya questions it, but when Renuka explains her she comments on it, saying she has seen it in daily soap. The entire family gets shocked. Sayali decides to make Riya understand about the ritual, but Renuka stops her by assigning some work. Renuka takes Riya to a puja room where she insists her to light up diya by giving her a match box. Riya struggles to use it to light up the diya. Paresh questions her, to which Riya says it’s old fashioned. He then tells Riya about the importance of doing this ritual. Riya listens in an attentive way. But she again struggles to use the match box so both Roshni and Tejash expect Riya to face Renuka’s anger, but much to their surprise, Renuka helps her.
After completing the first ritual, Sayali guides Riya to perform the second ritual. Riya performs it. Roshni decides not to let Riya become Renuka’s favourite daughter-in-law, so she nicely interacts with the latter. Renuka praises them both, ignoring Sayali, which upsets the latter and Paresh. Paresh then leaves for the union office, asking Renuka to complete the remaining ritual. Later, Riya goes against Renuka’s instructions, which brings a smile on Sayali’s face. She informs Sachin about Riya’s behaviour. Also, she makes him hear Riya’s conversation with Renuka by not disconnecting the call. Riya advises Renuka. Renuka indirectly taunts Sayali.
