The episode starts with Basanti telling Viren how she was arrested for the accidental death of her circus partner. Viren tells Basanti that she can live a new life with the money he is offering her. Basanti replies that she knows the work isn’t right since he is offering so much money. Viren explains that she needs to take the place of Pushpa, who looks like her. Basanti asks what will happen if that person comes back. Viren shows Basanti a photo of Pushpa and tells her that Pushpa is dead, and she needs to take her place. Basanti is shocked to see Pushpa, who looks just like her.
Power returns to Bapodhara’s chawl. Basanti asks Viren not to play with her by showing her the photo in a saree. Viren insists it’s Pushpa, who is similar to her. He asks Basanti to become Pushpa. Basanti questions why he wants her to take on Pushpa’s identity. Viren explains that the family members don’t know Pushpa is dead. He admits he wants to take revenge on Juggal by using her and plans to kill Juggal at the right moment. Basanti refuses to kill anyone. Viren tells Basanti that she just needs to defame Juggal and offers to pay her an additional 10 lakhs once she completes the task. Basanti asks what will happen if she gets caught. Viren assures her that it won’t happen.
Pushpa’s family and Bapodhara discuss Pushpa’s safe return home. Bapodhara sees Hasmukh leaving in a hurry. The police search for the passenger’s body. They find burnt cash but do not locate the passenger’s body.
Viren asks Basanti if she accepts the deal. Lallan calls Basanti and threatens to harm her if she doesn’t return his money. He ends the call abruptly. Bapodhara confronts Hasmukh, asking if he is responsible for the power cut. Hasmukh denies cutting any wires and rebukes him.
Basanti tells Viren that she doesn’t know anything about Pushpa. Viren explains Pushpa’s family tree to her. Swara wakes up from a nightmare and tells her family that she dreamed Pushpa is in danger. Deepti reassures her that Pushpa will be fine. Basanti expresses her concern to Viren that she might get caught by Pushpa’s family. She insists that it’s tough to act like Pushpa. Viren advises her to pretend she has lost her memory. Basanti says she can’t act and goes inside, closing the door behind her.
Deepti calls Juggal and asks if he has heard about Pushpa. Juggal replies no. They decide to contact the police. Later, the kids share that they had a dream of an explosion. Dilip wonders why all three of them had the same dream.
Bapodhara, Susheela, and Radha discuss Pushpa and worry about her, as she hasn’t called them. Hasmukh overhears their conversation and hopes that Pushpa will not be found. He prays to God, asking for Bapodhara to go missing. Golu, hearing this, comments on Hasmukh’s words. Hasmukh doesn’t understand what Golu is saying and leaves. Golu asks God to cancel Hasmukh’s request and comments on it. Mahindra arrives and asks Golu what Hasmukh said. Golu explains it to Mahindra, who responds with his own comments about Hasmukh.
Dilip, Ashwin, and Juggal go to the police station to file a missing person’s complaint about Pushpa. The officers take a photo of Pushpa from Ashwin and say they will search for her. Ashwin calls Rashi to give her an update on the situation.
Basanti contemplates Viren’s offer. She asks the butler if he would accept an offer that could change his life. The butler agrees and asks Basanti who made the offer. Basanti tells him to go and do his work.
Shekhar’s wife asks her son to order two teas and call Basanti’s aunt. Shekhar’s son agrees and follows her instructions. Basanti comments on Shekhar and starts arguing with his wife. Later, Basanti recalls Viren’s words.
