The episode starts with Jagriti asking Akash to read what is in the files. Akash reads the file and says, “Name: Harish, Caste: Chitta, and a born criminal.”
Kalikant is shown giving Aarthi to God, while Suraj notices Akash is missing from the Pooja.
Akash reads the files one by one, including Jagriti’s. He asks Jagriti what they should do with all these files, and she replies that she wants to burn them. Akash gives a Diya to Jagriti, but Kalikant knocks it away with a stick. Kalikant tells Jagriti she won’t be able to clean up all of this alone and says he’ll ask Jamuna to do it. He then instructs Jagriti to leave with Bindi, and she does.
Amol asks Kalikant why he allowed Jagriti to leave without punishment, even after she attempted to burn the Chitta files.
Bindi takes Jagriti to the Chitta community and scolds her for trying to burn the files. She tells Jagriti she’s fortunate that Kalikant hasn’t punished her. Jagriti expresses her surprise that he didn’t punish her, making a comment about it. Bindi then takes her away.
Kalikant tells Amol that since Jagriti isn’t afraid of a gun, they need to outsmart her. He hands his watch to Amol, giving him specific instructions. Amol says that once Jagriti is in jail, she’ll learn her lesson. Kalikant agrees and tells Amol to ensure no official case is filed, reminding him about Geeta. Amol assures Kalikant there will be no FIR and tells him not to worry, adding that if Jagriti doesn’t learn her lesson, she’ll face custodial death.
The next day, the cops arrive in the Chitta community. Durjan asks Inspector Pratap why they are there, and Inspector Pratap accuses Jagriti of stealing Kalikant’s watch. Jagriti denies it, but Inspector Pratap dismisses her and tries to take her away. Durjan warns him that if he touches a Chitta woman, he’ll pay for it. Inspector Pratap instructs Constable Kumar to search Jagriti’s home. Kumar complies, finds the watch, and claims he discovered it there. The Chitta people watch as the cops take Jagriti away. Harish asks Durjan to save her, but Durjan says Jagriti should experience the consequences of being a Chitta and accept it. Harish reminds Durjan that he’s the chief of the community, but Durjan responds that he’s still a servant of Kalikant above all else and makes a comment on it.
Kalikant splashes water on Akash, calling him a stain on their family name. Kalikant’s mother asks him to stop, saying Akash has been purified. Kalikant agrees and leaves. Ganga then takes Akash away.
Jagriti is thrown into jail. She insists she hasn’t stolen anything and asks the cops to check with Akash if they doubt her. Pratap scolds Jagriti for daring to mention Akash’s name.
Akash asks Ganga what he did wrong. Ganga tells him that he did nothing wrong, but in his father’s eyes, his actions were wrong. Akash questions Ganga why that is, and she explains that when people gain power, they believe only their perspective is right. Ganga says this is what Jagriti is fighting against.
