The episode starts with Diya telling Purvi that she is alive only because of RV. Purvi asks Diya where RV is. Diya replies that RV has gone to Neha’s house and mentions that he found out from Yogi that Sahil, Neha’s boyfriend, is the one responsible for trying to kill her. Diya shows her phone to Purvi.
Neha tells RV that he is mistaken and insists that Sahil would never think of doing anything like that. RV urges Neha to pray to God that Sahil is not behind this and states that if he is truly responsible for what happened to Purvi, then he will not spare Sahil. RV and Monisha leave in the car.
Monisha comments to RV that this is the first time she has seen him this angry and notes that he wasn’t this angry even when Netra accused him and made false allegations against him. She expresses that she feels like she doesn’t know this side of RV. RV responds that this is another side of him and states that this RV will not allow anything wrong to happen to Purvi.
Neha packs Sahil’s bags and tells him to leave, warning that RV will not spare him. Sahil insists he will not leave her. Neha explains that he doesn’t understand how much RV cares for Purvi and that she has witnessed it herself; RV will not leave him alone. Sahil asserts that he will hide in his house but will stay in Mumbai. He then leaves, and Neha worries about him.
RV gets out of the car and approaches Yogi’s vehicle. Yug steps out, and Yogi shows RV a photo of Sahil, asking if this is the person. RV confirms and tells Yogi that he wants Sahil found. Yogi agrees and leaves. RV, Monisha, and Yug return home.
Purvi steps out for a walk. Dadi approaches Harleen and tells her that she will make Sargi for her and asks Harleen to prepare Sargi for her daughter-in-law. Harleen agrees. Purvi inquires what they are discussing, and Dadi explains that tomorrow is Karwa Chauth. Purvi states that she will observe Karwa Chauth Vrath since it is her first Karwa Chauth after her marriage.
RV, Yug, and Monisha return home and learn about Purvi’s decision to observe Karwa Chauth. RV disagrees with Purvi participating, saying she needs rest. Purvi insists this is her first Karwa Chauth after her marriage. Harleen mentions that the doctor will come and decide if she can perform the Karwa Chauth ritual. The doctor arrives at the Malhotra mansion. Harleen informs the doctor that Purvi wants to observe the ritual. The doctor says he will check Purvi first and later tell them if she can proceed with the ritual. After examining Purvi, the doctor tells her that she is not fit enough to fast for Karwa Chauth. He reminds her that she needs to take her medication with water and must eat food for the medicine to be effective. The doctor then leaves.
Despite the doctor’s advice, Purvi insists she wants to observe Karwa Chauth. RV asks Purvi if she has ever performed the Karwa Chauth ritual before. Purvi responds that this is her first Karwa Chauth after her marriage. RV tells Purvi that she has already become his shield and protected him, even before doing this ritual. He emphasizes that she is his shield, not the Karwa Chauth ritual. Harleen and Dadi also urge Purvi not to proceed with the ritual, considering her health. RV makes Purvi promise that she will not observe the ritual.
RV helps Purvi to his room. Later, Purvi argues with RV, insisting that she wants to perform the Karwa Chauth ritual and comments on RV’s promise that she will not do it. RV reminds Purvi that while they might be married, there is no true husband-wife relationship between them. Purvi, hurt by his words, states that she has forgotten the truth about their marriage and declares that she will not observe Karwa Chauth for him. Monisha overhears their conversation.
Yug approaches Diya and asks if she will do the Karwa Chauth ritual. Diya replies that only married women do Karwa Chauth and states that she will not participate. Yug agrees and leaves.
Monisha decides to observe Karwa Chauth for RV, determined to prove to everyone in the house that she is RV’s shield.
