The episode begins with Panibai questioning Madhav about why he’s wandering around. Madhav replies that he was out on business, reminding Panibai that his work is based here. Panibai urges him to stop his business locally and move to Delhi instead. She explains that it’s her duty to consider everyone’s well-being. Meanwhile, Savitri arrives, and Panibai makes a comment toward her, then questions Madhav about why he has always been excluded from household and business decisions. Savitri is shocked by Panibai’s words.
Madhav asks Panibai what she means, prompting Panibai to subtly hint at her true identity. She asks him who she really is and reminds him that she has always been called “Panibai,” but he used to address her as “Panimaa,” suggesting that she is his mother. Madhav, however, doesn’t grasp the hint and says that everyone has called her “Panibai” since he was born, so he did the same. Panibai then instructs Madhav to stop his business here and join Anant and Vikram in theirs, but Madhav insists he doesn’t understand their work and that his focus is here. Ignoring his protests, Panibai turns to Savitri and confesses that she’s burdened by many secrets, hinting that she might reveal everything soon and then pass away. Savitri is taken aback by this revelation.
Elsewhere, Meera helps Durga prepare to visit the Rathore mansion. While getting her ready, Meera questions why Durga married a man like Rajesh. Durga explains that she had no other option, as Rajesh had threatened to expose her pictures with Anurag to the entire village, including Vikram. She reveals that if Vikram saw the photos, he would have severed ties with Anurag, and she couldn’t allow that to happen. Meera then asks if Durga believes Rajesh has actually deleted the photos, to which Durga confirms, saying he deleted them in front of her after their wedding.
Meera suggests that Durga should tell Anurag the truth, but Durga refuses, fearing Anurag would hold on to hope and ruin his life waiting for her. She reveals that, in her heart, she considers herself married to Anurag, so she will never allow Rajesh to touch her. Durga even declares that if she cannot protect herself from Rajesh, she would rather die than surrender to him.
As they prepare to leave, Rajesh’s aunt and Rajesh urge Meera to hurry up with Durga’s preparations, commenting on her long time spent getting ready for her first visit to the Rathore mansion since the wedding. Durga, in confidence with Meera, reveals her plan to leave in two days once her results are out and pursue her studies elsewhere. Meera warns that Rajesh will never allow this, but Durga is resolute. When Durga and Meera finally come out, Rajesh scolds her for taking so long, asking for whom she got dressed up. Durga retorts that she dressed up for the very person he’s thinking of. This comment stirs Rajesh’s aunt, and Durga responds with a sharp remark.
Durga and Rajesh then depart for the Rathore mansion.
