The episode starts with Purvi apologizing to God as she hides the food under the table.
Monisha complains to Deepika that during this Karwa Chauth fast, she can’t even drink water. Deepika suggests that Monisha stop thinking about water and do some work. Monisha holds a jug of water, and Deepika asks her not to drink it, saying she will take it away and leaves.
Diya comes in and asks Purvi what she is doing. Diya takes the plate of food from under the table and asks Purvi if she is doing the Karwa Chauth Vrath. Purvi confirms she is. Diya comments on Purvi doing the Karwa Chauth fast in her condition and goes to complain to Harleen about her. Purvi asks Diya not to do that.
Monisha smells something good in the kitchen. Feeling really hungry, she decides to eat some food while no one is watching. Monisha puts food on her plate and begins to eat. However, she overhears Purvi and Diya coming towards the kitchen and hides from them.
Purvi tells Diya that this is her first Karwa Chauth and that she must observe the fast. Diya tells Purvi that she can do this Karwa Chauth next year as well. Purvi comments on that, but Diya ignores her and goes looking for Harleen. Monisha overhears their conversation.
Purvi takes Diya to her room and asks her not to shout, saying that their mother might hear them. Diya argues with Purvi and questions why she needs to observe this Vrath in her situation. Purvi insists that she is RV’s wife and has to do this, commenting further. Monisha eavesdrops on their conversation and sees Harleen coming towards her. Worried that Harleen will find out about Purvi doing the fast, Monisha pretends to be sick to make Harleen think her condition is due to the Karwa Chauth fast. Harleen tells Monisha to go and rest in Deepika’s room and offers to help her, taking her there.
Harleen brings Monisha to Deepika’s room and informs her that Monisha is sick from fasting. She warns Monisha that she can’t take any medicine, or she will break her fast. Harleen leaves.
Deepika comments on Monisha, saying she is thinking of doing the Karwa Chauth Vrath. Deepika asks Monisha if she should bring food for her. Monisha replies that she is fine and admits she acted sick to bring Harleen here to prevent her from knowing that Purvi is doing the Karwa Chauth fast for RV. Deepika asks Monisha if she is sure, and Monisha confirms she is, adding that she overheard Diya and Purvi’s conversation.
Diya asks Purvi why she needs to observe this Vrath when she is sick. Purvi explains that RV is her husband and that she wants to do this Vrath for him, as she is alive today only because of RV. She says she wants to do what she can for RV and asks Diya to promise not to tell anyone about her Karwa Chauth Vrath. Dadaji overhears their conversation and praises Purvi for doing the fast for RV, even in her condition. He allows her to continue with the Karwa Chauth Vrath for RV.
Vikrant comes to Deepika and asks for his laptop, saying he is going to the office. Deepika asks him why he is going to the office. RV replies that he needs to stay home to take care of Purvi. Deepika assures RV that she and others will take care of Purvi, but RV says he is still worried about her. Deepika hands the laptop to Vikrant, and they leave.
Monisha complains to Deepika that she is fasting for RV while he is caring for Purvi. Monisha expresses her dissatisfaction with the situation and leaves.
Dadaji tells Purvi that she needs to accept her condition and that if she feels uncomfortable, she should stop the fast, as he doesn’t want her to take any chances with her health. He asks Diya to keep an eye on Purvi, and she agrees. Dadaji and Diya later leave.
