The episode starts with Mahua telling Chandan that she will not take part in Ranbir-Meghla’s wedding. Both of them get shocked seeing Adrija there. Adrija tries to leave, but Mahua stops her. Mahua consoles her. Adrija says to Mahua how they could choose best for Meghla over her. Chandan questions her for eavesdropping. Adrija defends her. She further questions her parents for their decision. She also asks Chandan for hiding Meghla’s truth from her, which is a lie, though he hates liars. She also shouts at him by calling him a liar. Mahua gets worried.
In Bajwa’s house, Balraj vents out his frustration with his wife about everything that has happened related to Ranbir’s roka ceremony. He also blames the entire family for putting him in a tough spot. His wife tries to defend, but she fails. Meher arrives there. Her mother-in-law informs her about Balraj’s decision to speak with Ranbir. Balraj rebukes Meher for the misunderstanding that has happened during Ranbir’s roka ceremony. He then says he will guide Ranbir about his life because his parents aren’t doing it. His wife tries to defend Meher, but Balraj shouts at her.
There, Mahua advises Adrija not to rudely behave with her father. Chandan orders Adrija not to reveal Meghla’s truth to her. Because Meghla will break down learning the truth. Also, she may misunderstand them. Adrija gets annoyed. So she questions Chandan about his principles and morals for his decision to hide Meghla’s truth and marry her off to Ranbir. Chandan warns her to let him and Mahua handle this situation. Adrija questions Mahua for hiding Meghla’s truth from her, too, which she has learned it from her aunt. Mahua explains to Adrija again for adopting Meghla. She then makes a request to Adrija to end this conversation here. Adrija expresses her pain.
Back at Bajwa’s house, Balveer and others discuss the blunder that has taken place during Ranbir’s roka ceremony. Simran says they all are thinking about Ranbir, but no one thinking about Meghla and her feelings. Balraj arrives there and orders Harman to bring Ranbir to him. Harman obliges. Meanwhile, Adrija resent her parents for bringing Meghla to their house, also keeping her dark for a long time about Meghla’s truth. Chandan badly criticises Adrija for enjoying Meghla’s pain and also getting happiness from giving pain to Meghla. Mahua pleads with both of them to stop their argument, saying Meghla is in the house. Adrija vents out her frustration with her parents.
Here, Ranbir meets Balraj, who questions him for humiliating him. Ranbir gets confused, so he questions Balraj. Balraj says that he didn’t like his choice of the Bengali girl, but he has approved it. Now, after everything happened that he has decided Meghla won’t become a part of this family. Ranbir gets shocked. Meanwhile, Adrija threatens her parents to leave the house. Mahua breaks down. Adrija continues her criticism towards her parents, but Chandan questions make her silent. In Bajwa’s house, Balraj rebukes Ranbir, who questions him for rejecting Meghla. Bebe explains to Ranbir about the humiliation Balraj has to face because of everything that has happened. Balraj demands Ranbir to marry his choice of a Punjabi girl. Ranbir looks shocked.
