Jagriti 7th November 2024 Written Update: Harish gives his testimony in Kalikant’s favor

Jagriti 7th November 2024 Written Update on SerialGossip.in

The episode starts with Jagriti giving her testimony in court, saying she only wanted to get an education to erase the stigma of being labeled a born criminal from her fate. Jagriti says she learned from the principal that she needed to get Kalikant’s letter to be admitted to school. She explains that she went to Kalikant’s house to obtain the letter at that time. Jagriti recalls how Kalikant nearly burned her father alive. She questions Kalikant about why he brands them as born criminals from birth.

Kalikant warns Jagriti that she will have to bear the consequences of what she’s about to say. Geeta asks the lawyer to inform Kalikant that he can’t threaten Jagriti like this in court. Geeta then asks Jagriti to explain how Kalikant brands them as born criminals. Jagriti says he does this by taking their fingerprints to add to the “born criminal” file. The lawyer argues with Geeta, saying that Jagriti is uneducated, so how could she know what’s written in a file. Jagriti responds that Akash read the file to her and told her what it contained. Kalikant angrily tells Jagriti not to take his son’s name with her “dirty mouth.”

After hearing Jagriti’s testimony, Geeta orders Inspector Pratap to search Kalikant’s house for that file. She instructs the cops to record the entire search and live-stream it in court.

Inspector Pratap arrives with two officers and Jagriti to search Kalikant’s house. He asks Jagriti to show them where she saw the file. Jagriti says it was in Kalikant’s office. However, the officers and Jagriti can’t find the file there. Jagriti insists that the file should be there and asks Akash to tell the officers about it. Akash, however, denies knowing anything and claims he never read her any file. Geeta and the court observe all this. Geeta instructs the officers to bring Jagriti back to court for further proceedings. The officers agree and escort Jagriti away.

Meanwhile, Suraj and Kalikant’s mother praise Akash for lying to the officers. Akash goes to his room, feeling guilty for betraying Jagriti. He tells Ganga that Jagriti will never forgive him. Ganga reminds Akash that he did it to protect Jagriti’s life.

Later, it is revealed that Kalikant’s mother overhears Akash’s conversation with Ganga and realizes he was the one who helped Jagriti. She instructs Akash to speak to his father. Kalikant warns Akash over the phone that if Jagriti wins the case, her life will be in danger.

Ganga thinks of ways to save Jagriti and comforts Akash.

The officers bring Jagriti back to court. The lawyer accuses Jagriti, calling her a liar. Harish steps in and says Jagriti isn’t lying; she simply doesn’t fully understand right from wrong. Harish takes the stand and testifies that Kalikant collects their fingerprints to protect them from the police. It is shown that Kalikant’s mother had told Harish to testify in court as Kalikant instructed, or else Jagriti’s life would be at risk.

After hearing Harish’s testimony, the lawyer argues to Geeta that all of Jagriti’s accusations against Kalikant have been disproven. He then points out that Jagriti did steal Kalikant’s watch and urges Geeta to punish her. Geeta prepares to give her verdict when Ganga and Akash arrive in court. Ganga testifies that Jagriti doesn’t know how to read the time. She explains that Akash gave Kalikant’s watch to Jagriti, taught her how to read the time, and left the watch with her so she could always arrive home on time.

Taking Ganga’s testimony into account, Geeta declares that Jagriti is innocent and says she can study at any school she chooses. Jagriti feels happy upon hearing the verdict.

Episode ends.
