The episode starts with Ashwin opening Pushpa’s cupboard and finding the missing items belonging to everyone present there. Ashwin shows them to everyone. They ask Basanti why she placed those things in her cupboard. Basanti says she didn’t know where to keep them, so she just put everything in her cupboard. Ashwin tells her she did the right thing. He then asks how her day has been. Basanti says Shoba is upset with her and doesn’t know what she did to upset her. Ashwin reassures her that everything will be settled soon and reminds her that Shoba is her friend. Deepti wonders how she found her mother’s purse in the cupboard.
Juggal announces that Tana Bana is opening in Kanpur and that they’ve received their first order. Basanti talks excitedly about Kanpur. Everyone is confused by her reaction. Juggal asks if she remembers everything about Kanpur. Basanti covers up, claiming to feel dizzy. They help her sit down and give her water, telling Pushpa not to stress.
Radha tells Saran not to leave. Ashawari asks Shoba why she created a scene in front of Radha and Pushpa. Saran tells Radha that Shoba has crossed all limits by doubting him and Ashawari, and he is considering leaving the school and the chawl. Radha warns him not to leave, saying the problem lies in Shoba’s thinking. Shoba confronts Ashwari, telling her that she saw with her own eyes how close Saran is to her. Ashwari explains that Saran only helped her when she almost fell. She tells Shoba to stop doubting her and asks why Shoba talks to men in the colony but objects when she talks to anyone. Shoba demands Ashwari leave her job, but Ashwari counters that even if she leaves, Shoba will still suspect her and suggests Shoba needs to change her mindset.
Pushpa thinks about how she knows Gujarati food when she hears a knock on the door. She opens it to find Shekhar, who asks why she’s answering the door at night. Gauri watches them from afar, recording. Pushpa tells Shekhar to leave, but he gives her 5 lakhs and asks her to save herself from Lallan. Gauri thinks about causing trouble in Basanti’s life and leaves.
Dilip grows increasingly suspicious of Basanti’s odd behavior. Juggal asks Dilip what’s on his mind. Dilip tells him that Pushpa is speaking fluent Kanpur language, and he feels suspicious whether she is really Pushpa. He suggests they need to go to Kanpur to resolve these doubts. Juggal agrees but says it’s impossible. Dilip insists they consult another doctor to help Pushpa regain her memory.
The butler tells everyone about Pushpa’s thali and today’s special offer. Gujarati students arrive and express excitement over the chai thali. They ask Pushpa for permission to promote it online. Pushpa agrees and tells them about the dishes. She even speaks in Gujarati. The students ask if she’s from Gujarat, and Pushpa is left thinking.
Bapodhara tells everyone to get ready for the chawl. Deepti asks him why it smells bad. Bapodhara questions Hasmukh if he cleaned the gutter. Hasmukh denies and leaves. Deepti tells Bapodhara that they can’t trust Hasmukh, so they decide to check it themselves.
Pushpa counts the money and gives some of her share to the butler. He thanks her, and she asks if he’s ever prepared this food before. He says no, and Pushpa is left thinking.
Dilip meets Basanti and questions her about the incidents in Kanpur. A person arrives and asks Pushpa to take the order. Dilip follows him, and that person meets Guru Bhasin, who sees Dilip and says Dilip is heading for his death. He aims a gun at Dilip.
Rashi asks Basanti to do the rangoli. Pushpa creates a chai kettle rangoli. Rashi, Deepti, and Prathna confront Basanti, asking her about it. Basanti lies, claiming she doesn’t know why she made it and quickly leaves. She is clearly missing her past life.
The police arrive to question Dilip about what he’s searching for. Dilip explains that he suspected the person who came to his house, which is why he came to look for him. The constable says fine and leaves to search for Guru Bhasin. Guru Bhasin is frustrated that he missed his chance.
Viren happily distributes Diwali gifts to his employees and calls Basanti. She goes to the washroom to answer the call. Viren asks if anyone has suspected her regarding the Tana Bana papers. Basanti reassures him that she managed it. Viren tells Basanti to distribute the parcels he sent to the kids. Basanti asks why it’s necessary. Viren says it’s to win the kids’ trust and cuts the call. She comes out.
Juggal gives Basanti a gift and wishes her a Happy Diwali. She asks what the gift is, and Juggal tells her it’s a saree. He asks her to see it, and Basanti compliments it, thanking him. Juggal leaves.

Precap: Pushpa pays money to Lallan. Lallan asks how she got the money to buy things. Gauri says she will explain and shows everyone how Pushpa took the money from Shekhar.
