The episode starts with Kachori telling Jagriti that she has brought pure water. Jagriti asks Kachori to pour the water into the pot. Kachori agrees and pours the water. Meanwhile, a frog also falls into the pot. Golu sees this and thinks that Jagriti’s food has been ruined. He believes that once Jagriti eats the food, her vrat will be spoiled. However, Jagriti thanks Kachori for helping her keep her food pure. Golu comments on Jagriti in his heart. The frog eventually jumps out of the pot, but Jagriti doesn’t notice it.
Amol asks Sapna to go and take rest. Sapna insists that she will stay with Geeta.
Bindi catches Golu spying on Jagriti. She warns him not to create a mishap that would ruin Jagriti’s vrat. She adds that if he does, she will complain to Durjan. Golu reluctantly leaves.
Harish changes his voice and calls Amol, telling him that new firecrackers have arrived. He asks Amol if he should send them to his place. Amol agrees to come himself. He then asks Sapna to take care of herself and Geeta before leaving. The constable urges Amol to make another call.
Harish, meanwhile, says to himself that he won’t let anything happen to Geeta. The constable overhears him and offers to help. Harish agrees and later makes another call.
Jagriti gets ready to eat her food. Kachori suddenly throws a rock into it. Shocked, Jagriti asks her why she did that.
Kachori explains how a frog had come into their house and ruined their food. She adds that Golu’s friend said this was happening because of Chhathi Mayya, who used the frog to spoil Jagriti’s food. Kachori says that as soon as she found out, she came to help. Jagriti thanks her for coming at the right time.
Ballu breaks Jagriti’s pots in anger. Nanda asks him why he is doing this. Ballu complains that because of Jagriti’s vrat, they can’t eat meat, and now their food has also been ruined. Bindi comments sarcastically about the situation. Durjan intervenes, stopping Ballu, and tells him to let Jagriti perform her vrat. He adds that no one should interrupt her and remarks on the matter.
Jagriti and Kachori start making new pots. However, Champa drags Kachori away, saying she won’t let her help Jagriti.
Kalikant brings Akash and Ganga home. Kalikant’s mother asks him why he brought Ganga back so soon. Kalikant explains that the party leader is coming over and has asked him to celebrate Chhath with everyone. He says he had no choice but to bring Ganga back for the Chhath Pooja.
Kalikant reveals his plan to impress the party leader, hoping to secure a ministerial post. His mother supports the plan, saying that once he becomes a minister, Geeta won’t be able to touch him.
Harish looks at Geeta and vows not to let anything happen to her.
Meanwhile, Akash overhears Kalikant’s mother telling Kalikant that Jagriti is also performing Chhath Pooja for Geeta. Kalikant gets angry but is reassured by his mother, who dismisses Jagriti as just a kid incapable of completing the vrat. Akash shares this with Ganga, and they decide to help Jagriti.
Jagriti, shown to be hungry, prays to the Goddess for a miracle. Champa pretends to care for her and gives her spiked water to drink.
