The episode begins with Jagriti telling Kachori that they need to go home and prepare for Chhath Puja. Kachori asks Jagriti how she plans to buy bananas and other fruits for the Puja, as they will require a lot of money. Kachori questions where Jagriti will get the money. They notice a woman begging for money to perform Chhath Puja. Inspired by this, Kachori also starts begging for money, claiming her friend is performing the ritual for her mother.
Kachori approaches Avadhesh and asks him for money. Jagriti intervenes and scolds Kachori for begging. Avadhesh realizes that Jagriti is Kachori’s friend and that she is the one performing Chhath Puja for her mother. Curious, Avadhesh asks Jagriti what happened to her mother. Kachori reveals that Jagriti’s mother was injured in the bomb blast and that Jagriti is performing the Puja for her recovery.
Avadhesh recalls the doctor mentioning that Geeta’s recovery is a miracle and begins to believe there might be a divine power at work. He concludes that Jagriti’s devotion through the Puja is helping Geeta recover. Avadhesh interprets this as a sign from the Goddess and asks Jagriti if she would come with him to meet his daughter, Geeta, who is also injured. Jagriti agrees. Kachori warns Jagriti not to leave with strangers, but Jagriti explains that Avadhesh is Geeta’s father and, therefore, her grandfather. She leaves with Avadhesh.
Meanwhile, Harish argues with Durjan, blaming him for allowing Jagriti to go to the Ghat alone. Nanda tries to calm Harish, reminding him that Durjan went against everyone to let Jagriti perform the Chhath Puja. She then questions Harish’s absence, to which he replies that he was with Geeta. Nanda sarcastically comments on his priorities.
Harish grows worried about Jagriti. Kachori arrives and informs everyone that Jagriti has gone with Avadhesh to meet Geeta.
Avadhesh takes Jagriti to Geeta. Sapna questions Avadhesh’s decision to bring Jagriti and tries to stop Jagriti from meeting Geeta. The nurse intervenes and takes Sapna away, offering an excuse. Sujata then confronts Avadhesh, expressing concern that Jagriti might discover Geeta is her mother. Avadhesh rebukes her, saying their decision to marry Geeta to Amol, assuming he would take care of her, has proven wrong. He points out that Amol is nowhere to be found while Geeta is fighting for her life. Avadhesh reveals that Jagriti already knows Geeta is her mother and is performing Chhath Puja for her recovery.
Jagriti sees Geeta and assures her that she won’t tell anyone about their relationship. She asks Geeta to recover soon.
Avadhesh gives Jagriti money to ensure she can complete her Chhath Puja without any issues.
Jagriti later overhears Sapna arguing with a security guard for leaving Jhumki, their goat, in the jungle. Upon learning this, Jagriti sets out to find the goat.
Amol returns home and discovers that Avadhesh brought Jagriti to Geeta. Furious, he confronts Avadhesh.
Amol angrily questions why Avadhesh brought Jagriti there. Avadhesh, in turn, asks Amol where he has been all this time while Geeta has been fighting for her life. Avadhesh notices that Amol is drunk and accuses him of being responsible for Geeta’s condition. In response, Amol lashes out, blaming Geeta’s parents for hiding the truth that Geeta had a baby with Chitta.
