The episode begins with Adit complimenting Sowmya on the food, saying, “This is so good!” Sowmya responds, “This home chef has managed to make you smile.” Adit adds, “It tastes just like home-cooked food.” Sowmya teasingly asks if he’s comparing it to Mangal’s cooking. Adit replies, “It’s even better than Mangal’s food.” Sowmya reveals that she found the home chef just for him and requests him not to tell Kusum that she’s been sending him empty tiffin boxes. Adit agrees and finds a note in the tiffin, which inspires him to write a heartfelt message of appreciation.
At the party, Lakshmi asks the guests if they liked the food. The guests enthusiastically respond, saying they loved it. Lakshmi proudly shares that her sister, who owns a catering business, prepared it. They ask for Mangal’s contact details. Gayatri overhears this and thinks to herself that Lakshmi’s happiness won’t last for long. Meanwhile, Karthik introduces Lakshmi to one of his guests. Suddenly, a dance performance begins, and Jia dances around Karthik. After the performance, Lakshmi questions why Jia is there at a colleagues’ party. Jia smugly replies, “I’m a colleague too. Didn’t Karthik tell you about it?”
Later, Adit returns home looking cheerful. Kusum notices and asks him why he’s so happy. Sowmya quips, “He’s happy because of the food I prepared.” Adit agrees, saying he’s in a great mood, and walks away. Kusum wonders if Sowmya has done black magic on him. Meanwhile, Mangal finds Adit’s appreciation letter and is delighted. She decides to prepare Gatte Ki Sabji for him the next day. That night, Adit goes to the kitchen to drink water and thinks about how much he loves the home chef’s cooking. He muses that if he knew who she was, he would order dinner from her as well. As he leaves, the appreciation note falls from his coat. Akshat rushes him out of the room, and the note slips to the floor. Mangal later picks it up and feels hopeful after reading it.
Back at the party, Jia informs Lakshmi that she’s working on a music album with Karthik, saying, “Our chemistry is going to be amazing.” Lakshmi calmly replies, “Karthik’s chemistry would look good with anyone.” Hurt, Lakshmi walks away. Karthik follows her and tries to explain why he didn’t tell her about Jia earlier. Lakshmi brushes it off, saying she trusts him, and heads to the kitchen to prepare food. Meanwhile, Jia approaches Karthik and asks if her presence has caused problems between him and his wife. Karthik rebukes her for her behavior, but Jia kisses him. At that moment, Lakshmi walks out and sees them. To make matters worse, Jia walks over to Lakshmi, kisses her on the cheek, and sarcastically remarks, “Your party is wonderful!” before leaving.
Later, Sowmya says to herself, “I’m so glad I found this home chef. Otherwise, I’d have to endure Kusum and Adit’s taunts.” As she packs the empty tiffin boxes, Kusum arrives and asks her to mend some torn clothes. Sowmya reluctantly agrees and leaves to do the chore. Adit announces that he’s leaving for the office. Kusum tries to hand him a tiffin box but notices it feels too light. Meanwhile, Isha calls Mangal and places an order for four more tiffins. Mangal is overjoyed and rushes to prepare them.
Sowmya decides not to do the work of stitching. Sowmya makes it looks like the stitching machine has fallen on her feet. Sowmya shouts for help. Kusum comes and asks Sowmya what happened. Sowmya says this stitching machine has fallen on her feet. Sowmya asks Kusum to help her. Kusum asks Sowmya if her hands are not injured. Sowmya says she is really feeling pain in her leg. Kusum helps Sowmya get up and questions Sowmya why did she send empty tiffin box to Adit. Kusum reprimands Sowmya for starving Adit. Kusum reminds Sowmya that she said that she will prove to be a better daughter in law of this house than Mangal and she took all of the responsibility but she isn’t able to do one thing and and comments on it. Kusum asks Sowmya to prepare food for Adit. Sowmya says her leg is injured. Kusum agrees and leaves from there.
Sowmya sees Mangal giving boxes to the delivery boy and she later leaves from there thinking Kusum will come. Mangal later encourages herself saying this is just the beginning.
