The episode starts with Aarthi telling Durga that she used to live in fear of everyone but will not be afraid anymore. Aarthi says to Panibai that Savitri gets her courage from her family, while she gets her courage from her son. Aarthi tells Panibai that she wouldn’t understand this. Panibai replies that she understands it better than anyone else. Panibai adds that Aarthi can ask Savitri about it. Indira intervenes, saying she raised the children in this house as her own. Panibai comments on this remark.
Durga calls Anubhav from a public phone booth and asks him about Anurag’s condition. Anubhav tells Durga that Anurag’s condition is critical. He explains that initially, the doctor said there was only a knee injury, but now they’ve discovered injuries to his head and back as well. He adds that the doctor has successfully removed the bullet. After hearing this, Durga blames herself for Anurag’s condition. Anubhav asks her not to blame herself, saying that they came there to help her on their own. He advises Durga to focus on herself for now. Durga tells Anubhav that she doesn’t know what to do because she has no money and fears Rajesh will kill her if he finds her. She feels hopeless about escaping her current situation. Anubhav reminds her that she has written the medical test. Durga says she cannot ask Vikram to help her study, as he will blame her for Anurag’s condition. She promises to figure out a way and then ends the call.
Durga arrives at Rajesh’s house. She tells Meera that Anurag has been shot and that the shooter is Rajesh. Chandini comments on Durga’s situation. Meera asks Durga to explain everything in detail. Durga reveals that Rajesh locked her in an abandoned bungalow to torture her before killing her. Anurag and Anubhav somehow found out where she was and came to rescue her. During the confrontation, Rajesh fought with Anurag and shot him. Upon hearing this, Rajesh’s aunt says that Anurag deserved it for interfering with their family. Durga rebukes Rajesh’s aunt, accusing her of always supporting Rajesh no matter what he does. Durga warns the aunt that she will not allow her to have food in the house if she speaks ill of Anurag again. Durga instructs Meera not to give Rajesh’s aunt any food from now on.
Meera then asks Durga if Rajesh knows she is there. Durga says Rajesh must have fled by now, knowing Vikram will kill him for hurting Anurag. Durga vows not to spare Rajesh either, saying that if she gets the chance, she will kill him for hurting Anurag. Rajesh’s aunt and Rajesh react to her words.
