The episode begins with Reet telling Divya that the entire Chowdary family will agree to have their belongings searched, but if the gold waist belt isn’t found, all the guests and eventually family members will be searched.
Raghav enters the hall, stating that he has the gold waist belt and asks if the “police thief game” is over, signaling that they can end this farce. Sudheer then takes everyone away.
Suman stops Smita from leaving, insisting that they will not leave until the entire truth is revealed. Raghav apologizes to Suman, explaining that he took the gold waist belt so he could place it around Reet.
In a flashback, Sharda tells Raghav that while everyone was searching for the gold waist belt, she began her own search and found it in Smita’s belongings. Sharda advises Raghav to handle things carefully, and he agrees.
Raghav then places the gold waist belt around Reet, thinking that no matter how much her family tries to disrupt the marriage, it will happen. He leaves soon after.
Reet, however, moves aside and attempts to remove the waist belt. She discovers an envelope from Thakkural Constructions and begins to suspect that Raghav’s company is involved in the situation. Reet vows to bring the truth to light and expose Raghav, declaring that she will never marry a murderer.
Meanwhile, Suman sits on the floor, refusing to move until she knows the truth. She questions Sharda about why there isn’t a single photo of Raghav and Unnati’s mother in the house, as they will soon be family. Raghav enters and tells Suman that his mother is dead, and no one speaks of her in the house because of the painful memories associated with her. He asks Suman if she has heard enough before leaving.
Reet takes her family and leaves for their home.
The next day, Dhruv asks Smita what she was doing in the room where the gold waist belt was found. Reet explains that she sent Smita there since she wasn’t present during the Mehandi ceremony. Dhruv then asks Reet where she went, leaving the ceremony. He questions if he’s now grown enough to question his elder sister. Dhruv expresses that he just wants the relationship between their families to be good since they are about to be in-laws. Reet’s mother agrees with Dhruv, mentioning that Reet forgot to give the wedding card to Mrs. Chawla. Reet says she will go and give it right away.
Meanwhile, Raghav goes to Unnati, who is upset about their mother. He tries to comfort her, but Unnati accuses Raghav of lying about their mother’s death. Raghav coldly responds that their mother is dead to them. He reminds Unnati that she never tried to contact their mother all these years. Unnati suggests that Raghav invite their mother to his wedding, but he refuses. Sharda intervenes, saying that Raghav is going to the temple to offer the wedding card for her, showing how much he cares for Unnati. Raghav then leaves.
Reet arrives at the temple to deliver the wedding card to Mrs. Chawla. Meanwhile, Raghav reflects on his mother and prays to God.
