The episode begins with the dean informing Durga that she has until 5 PM to provide the name and address of a guardian if she wishes to continue her education at the college. Durga, worried about her future, wonders what to do, as she knows that without Vikram’s consent to list him as her guardian, her dreams of studying will be shattered.
Meanwhile, the dean calls Vikram and informs him about Durga writing Anurag’s name as her guardian. Vikram questions the dean about this, and the dean explains that Durga was given a condition to provide a valid guardian’s details by 5 PM. Vikram assures him that Durga won’t be able to meet him because he’ll be busy with a press conference.
At the office, Vikram holds a meeting with reporters to discuss girls’ education. He passionately speaks about the importance of education for girls, citing his own experiences in tribal areas where there’s a lack of awareness. Vikram proudly mentions that he raised Durga, a tribal girl, as his own daughter. The reporters grow curious and ask about Durga’s current situation. Vikram hesitates but eventually claims that Durga was married and became a widow. He adds that she’s currently staying at his home to recover from her trauma and will leave once she’s ready. When the reporters request an interview with Durga, Vikram skillfully dodges their questions.
Back at Rathore Mansion, Durga learns about Vikram’s meeting and rushes to meet him. Panibai tries to stop her, insisting she wait until the meeting is over. However, Durga reveals the dean’s ultimatum about the guardian’s signature, stressing the urgency of the situation. Aarthi, moved by Durga’s plea, allows her to meet Vikram, but Panibai continues to resist. Determined, Durga barges into Vikram’s meeting despite Panibai’s objections.
Durga interrupts the press conference and asks Vikram to speak with her privately. When Vikram refuses, she threatens to discuss her issue in front of everyone. Durga boldly announces her problem, explaining that she can only gain admission to Imperial Medical College if Vikram permits her to use his name as her guardian, and the deadline is 5 PM. Vikram becomes furious and orders her to leave, but Durga stands her ground and argues with him.
The reporters, intrigued by the drama, question Vikram about Durga’s statements. Vikram explains that allowing Durga to study in the city might anger the people of Kinsar village and reminds her of her responsibilities toward her in-laws. However, Durga retorts, asking why she should return to her in-laws’ house when her husband, Rajesh, is no longer alive. She points out that only Chandini is left there, and she has no relationship with her anymore.
Durga’s comments put Vikram in an awkward position as the reporters continue to probe. Anurag gets worried for Durga.
