The episode starts with Sowmya not letting Mangal enter the house. She closes the door and reminds Mangal about Adit’s warning to stay away. Mangal explains that she came because Kusum didn’t answer her call. Sowmya tells her that Kusum is busy preparing laddoos for her and insists that she can take care of Kusum herself. She warns Mangal to stop finding ways to get closer to Adit. Disheartened, Mangal leaves.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi fails to convince Raghuveer to take Karthik’s case. At home, Gayatri refuses to eat, and Lakshmi informs the family that the lawyer has declined to help. Everyone grows more worried about Karthik. Lakshmi prays to Maata Rani and soon receives a call from a videographer claiming he has proof of Karthik’s innocence. Lakshmi rushes to meet him but notices Jia’s man following her. She manages to shake him off and meets Mangal to share the good news. Mangal wishes her luck as Lakshmi heads to the photo studio. Jia, informed by her man, begins to plot against Lakshmi.
Elsewhere, Mangal calls Sudhesh and asks him to make Kusum talk to her when he gets home. He agrees. As Mangal waits, she notices Roshini and questions her presence. Roshini lies, saying she’s there to visit her relatives working nearby. Mangal, sensing something amiss, enters the office and is greeted by Isha, who sympathizes with her. While in the office, Mangal spots Sowmya leaving in a hurry. Following her, she sees Sowmya paying money to Roshini. Mangal realizes that Sowmya orchestrated the pooja incident to keep her away from Adit’s house. Determined to inform Kusum, she heads back to the office after receiving Isha’s call.
At Adit’s house, Kusum notices smoke and, despite being in pain, rushes to the kitchen to turn off the stove.
Meanwhile, at work, the boss celebrates the company’s achievements with a success party. During the event, Mangal notices a helper and fills a plate of food for him. Sowmya mocks her, but Mangal explains that the helper, like everyone else, contributed to the company’s success. She gives the food to the worker, earning applause from everyone. The boss praises Mangal’s thoughtful nature and tells Adit that he’s fortunate to have her as his wife. He adds that Adit might learn a lot from her at home. Adit agrees, leaving Sowmya fuming.
Later, Sowmya eats her favorite cake while Isha encourages Mangal to eat something. Mangal, worried about Kusum, hesitates but eventually tastes the cake. Realizing it’s pineapple-flavored, she sees Sowmya eating the same cake and stops her just in time, causing the cake to fall. Sowmya confronts Mangal angrily. When the boss asks what’s wrong, Mangal explains that Sowmya is allergic to almonds and was only trying to protect her. The boss jokingly remarks that it seems like they live together, making everyone smile. Frustrated, Sowmya asks Mangal for a private conversation.
On the other hand, Lakshmi views the footage provided by the videographer and discovers that Jia faked fainting to trap Karthik. The videographer, a fan of Karthik, tells Lakshmi he found the footage and thought it would help prove Karthik’s innocence. Grateful, Lakshmi takes the footage and heads to court. However, Jia gets wind of this and, using her man, misleads the videographer and deletes the proof. The man also traps Lakshmi in her car.
As police escort Karthik to court, people throw tomatoes at him. Lakshmi, determined to prove Karthik’s innocence, suddenly finds her car emitting thick smoke. She’s unable to get out and starts suffocating. Karthik overhears through the walkie-talkie that Lakshmi is in danger. Despite the constables refusing to help, he escapes from the police jeep.
As people flee, fearing the car might explode, Karthik arrives, breaks the window, and rescues Lakshmi. Concerned, he asks if she’s okay. Lakshmi notices the pendrive with the evidence is missing and sees it has fallen inside the burning car. She pleads with Karthik to let her retrieve it, but he stops her, saying it’s too dangerous and the pendrive might already be destroyed. Lakshmi breaks down in tears.
