The episode starts with Sharda telling Raghav that Reet is going to meet Neeta to thank her for helping Reet get a job. Sharda comments on Reet, saying that she has a lot of self-respect—so much so that she won’t accept a single rupee from Raghav, but she won’t hesitate for a moment to take help from Neeta. Raghav asks Sharda where Reet is. Sharda tells him that he will not meet Neeta, as he is angry and went through a lot last time because of her. Raghav says he is ready to go through it again if he has to, but he needs to talk to Neeta. Sharda says she will come with him. Raghav agrees.
Raghav and Sharda arrive at the school. Reet asks a man where Neeta is. He gives her directions. Reet reflects on her childhood moments with Neeta.
A student asks Neeta to untangle his manja. Neeta asks Raghav if he can untangle it. Raghav hears Neeta’s voice and recalls his moments with her.
It is shown that Neeta flew a kite with Raghav during his childhood. Unnati breaks a kite and asks Neeta to make her a new one. Neeta agrees. Unnati asks Neeta why she always flies red kites. Neeta replies that red is her favorite color. Raghav tears apart a red kite when it falls over his face.
Reet meets Neeta. Neeta talks to Reet. Sharda eavesdrops on their conversation. Reet tells Neeta that she won’t be able to take the job. Neeta says that Reet got the job on her own merits and asks why she is rejecting it. Reet explains that her husband, Raghav, sees her as his biggest business rival and hates her. Reet says Raghav won’t like it if she gets the job because of Neeta’s recommendation. Neeta says that when she gave Reet the wedding card, she thought Reet was only marrying as a formality and wouldn’t love her husband, but now she sees Reet putting Raghav above herself. Sharda notices Raghav approaching and worries that if he hears what Reet said, they might get together. She throws marbles on the ground, causing the children to fall. Raghav gets distracted by the children. After talking to Neeta, Reet leaves.
Reet runs into Sharda and asks what she is doing there. Sharda says they come every year to donate stationery items to the children. Sharda asks Reet what she is doing there. Reet replies that she got the job through Neeta’s recommendation, but she rejected it and came to speak with Neeta about it. Sharda says she did the right thing. Sharda sees Raghav approaching and tells Reet that she should sever all ties with Neeta since Raghav really hates Neeta. Reet says that is why she rejected the job. Raghav receives a call and steps away to take it. Reet then says she will go meet Raghav and leaves.
Raghav approaches Sharda. She tells him not to speak to Reet right now, as she has already convinced Reet to reject the job and stay away from Neeta. Raghav agrees.
Viraj calls Reet and tells her that marrying her was the best decision he made. He mentions how Raghav exposed Kesari. After hearing this, Reet decides to thank Raghav.
Sharda searches the storage room to find something to hurt Raghav. Poonam and Divya enter the room and ask if Sharda needs help. Sharda sends them away. Divya accidentally knocks over a box. Sharda notices it’s a VCR box. She thanks Poonam and Divya and sends them away.
Reet calls Raghav, but he doesn’t answer. Raghav goes to a lake and takes a dip to control his emotions.
Reet arrives home and watches a video of Raghav making a kite for his mother during his childhood. Reet hopes to see Raghav’s mother in the video.
