The episode begins with Aniruddh telling Vihaan that he has seen the latter’s wife, Jhanak, in Kolkata. He says he was searching for the real Avni’s photo. He asks whom Vihaan brought with him. Vihaan agrees his current wife is not Avni. He asks how Aniruddh knows his wife. Aniruddh asks why Vihaan brought Jhanak with him. Vihaan says he married Jhanak; that’s why he brought her with him. Aniruddh asks when his marriage happened with Jhanak.
Vihaan thinks he can’t tell the complete truth to Aniruddh. He asks whether Aniruddh lied about his illness. Aniruddh accepts he decided to stay there to learn the truth. He asks what’s the need of a fake muh dikhai ceremony and all. Vihaan says he really got married to Jhanak. He thinks Jhanak knew Aniruddh; that’s why she requested he not tell the truth to Aniruddh.
Meanwhile, Mehek says she can’t believe Jhanak knew how to make tasty pickle when the latter was living in America. Priyanshi asks whether everyone studies in America. Jhanak says studies are important. Priyanshi says she wants to study. Jhanak says she will make sure Priyanshi studies and gives exams. Mehek says it would have been good if she had met Jhanak earlier. Priyanshi says she trusts Jhanak. She asks Jhanak to talk to Vihaan. Jhanak tells Priyanshi to focus on studies only. Mehek says no one talks against Ketki in the house. She tells Jhanak that it won’t be easy to support Priyanshi in this.
Aniruddh asks when Vihaan married Jhanak. Vihaan tells Aniruddh to learn about Avni first. He reveals he met Avni in the US and fell in love with her, then married her. He says Avni died in a plane crash, and he did not even get her dead body. He tells Aniruddh that he had Ahaan only, and his family finally agreed to meet him, so he came to India. He says he met Jhanak in India, and she wanted a place to stay, and he wanted someone to take care of Ahaan, so they got married.
Aniruddh gets shocked hearing this. Vihaan asks Aniruddh to tell about Jhanak. Aniruddh says Jhanak is special. He tells Vihaan to stay happy with Jhanak. Vihaan says he can’t give Avni’s place to Jhanak. Aniruddh says Jhanak is a really good dancer. He decides to talk to Jhanak once before leaving. Vihaan leaves from there.
On the other hand, Bipasha tells Laal that she can’t stay in the house. Laal tells her he can’t buy a flat now. She tauntingly asks him what he can do. She says it seems like Laal is planning to spend money on Mimi’s marriage. Laal says it’s not like that. Bipasha tells Laal to leak exam papers and earn money. Laal tells her he will lose his job if he gets caught then. Bipasha tells him she will lose his wife. Apu comes there and calls Lalon.
Jhanak asks Aniruddh what he wants to talk about when everything is over between them. Aniruddh says Jhanak married a stranger. She tells him she doesn’t interfere in his married life, so he should not interfere too. He asks her to tell the reason. She tells him there is no reason. He says he won’t leave without finding it. She tells him how Kul Bhushan kidnapped her and how she attacked a goon to escape. She says she killed Goon, and she wanted a place to hide. He gets shocked hearing this. He asks her whether she is sure Goon is not alive. He asks whether she talked to Aditya. She tells him she doesn’t want to contact anyone. He says she wants to live with this new identity. He says Vihaan is a good guy, but he loves Avni still. She tells him she also married Vihaan to stay there. She says by staying together they can begin their relationship.
Rihaan tells Jhanak’s location to Kul Bhushan. Kul Bhushan says Mittal escaped this time. Rihaan reveals Jhanak is staying as the daughter-in-law of a rich family. He says theft and attempted murder cases have been filed against Jhanak. Kul Bhushan tells Rihaan to bring Jhanak.
Apu tells Bipasha to go and work in the kitchen because Tanuja is cooking alone. Laal tells Bipasha to go and cook. He leaves for college.
Aniruddh asks Jhanak whether it’s easy for her to forget the past. Jhanak tells him she is trying, and she is happy there. She leaves from there.
