The episode begins with Pankaj calling Anjali. He asks if he is disturbing her. Anjali assures him that he is not and questions why he thinks that way. Pankaj tells Anjali that he heard she is celebrating Makar Sankranti with the Rajput family and jokingly asks if she has forgotten the way to the court. Anjali replies that she hasn’t forgotten anything and asks Pankaj why he called her.
Pankaj informs Anjali that Prakash is celebrating his girlfriend’s birthday at a poolside restaurant. He adds that Deepika is an accomplice in Shivani Tripathi’s murder. Pankaj reminds her that Prakash didn’t even claim Shivani’s body after her death, leaving it to Brijesh to perform her last rites. Pankaj reminds Anjali that she is the only one who can stand up for victims like Shivani and Padma. Anjali agrees and comments on the situation.
At the poolside restaurant, Prakash celebrates Deepika’s birthday, wishing her a happy birthday. Anjali arrives, interrupting the celebration. She confronts Prakash, accusing him of celebrating his girlfriend’s birthday after killing his wife. Deepika asks Anjali who she is. Anjali responds, saying Deepika might not recognize her, but Prakash certainly should. Anjali then calls for Brijesh, who arrives with Shivani’s ashes.
Anjali informs everyone present that Prakash didn’t even claim Shivani’s body after the post-mortem. She reveals that it was Brijesh who took Shivani’s body and performed her last rites. Anjali calls Prakash a murderer and accuses him openly. Prakash defends himself, saying she cannot call him a murderer until it is proven in court. Anjali challenges him, asserting that she will expose him in court and claims to have evidence against him.
Prakash, growing defensive, questions Anjali’s actions. Anjali silences him, stating that while Shivani was burning and crying for help, he was romancing Deepika in a nearby hotel. She claims to have proof of the hotel booking and mocks him further. Before leaving, Anjali instructs Brijesh to slap Prakash. Brijesh complies, and Prakash, enraged, attempts to retaliate. However, Anjali stops him and warns him against further misconduct.
Later, Prakash contacts Raghav, complaining that Anjali humiliated him in front of his girlfriend and that Brijesh slapped him. Prakash threatens that if Anjali comes to court, she will face the consequences. Raghav assures Prakash that Anjali will not make it to court the next day.
Anjali returns home, where Ganesh questions her absence, noting that she wasn’t at the Rajput house or home. He chastises her for neglecting her duties as a daughter-in-law. Anjali firmly replies that he also taught her to always stand for the truth. She explains how Prakash was celebrating with his girlfriend after killing Shivani and vows to seek justice in court the next day.
Sapna intervenes, declaring that Anjali will not go to court. Anjali insists she will. In anger, Sapna slaps Anjali and admonishes her, reminding her that she married Aman without the family’s consent and should now abide by their house rules.
