The episode starts with Virat hanging from the cliff, holding onto Amruta’s hand. Virat tells Amruta that he loves her. He says that even if one of them survives, it will be the same. Amruta pleads with Virat not to speak like that. Virat tells her that their journey ends here. Amruta begs Virat to try and get up for her. Virat tells Amruta that Wendy is right and that as long as he is in her life, she will never be happy. He comments further and says he doesn’t want to be the reason for her losing her mother.
Bhavani tries to go towards Virat, but Rajiv stops her by whipping her with the gun. Amruta begs Virat not to let go of her hand. Virat tells her that he cannot let her die with him. He then lets go of her hand and falls into the valley.
The Ahuja family arrives at Rajiv’s location with the cops, who take Rajiv into custody. Rajiv mocks the Ahuja family and Amruta, saying they are too late. The family and Amruta are left devastated by Virat’s demise. In a fit of rage, Amruta slaps Rajiv.
Two years later
It is shown to be Virat’s death anniversary. Nimrit talks to Amruta over the phone, asking her to attend the interview for Avirat Legacy. Amruta agrees.
Babita looks at Virat’s photo and tells him that she has kept the house just the way he liked it. She later comments about the business. Mandira arrives and reminds Babita that Abhir Ahuja is the one handling the business now. Babita argues with Mandira, saying that Virat and Dildar were the ones who built the company Abhir is now managing.
Babita receives a call from Amruta but doesn’t answer it until Bebe insists. Amruta asks Babita if she has taken her medicine, and Babita admits she hasn’t. Babita asks Amruta why she didn’t attend Virat’s death anniversary last year and questions her whereabouts now. Amruta remains silent. Bebe reassures Amruta that she will ensure Babita takes her medicine and advises Amruta to take care of herself.
Amruta visits the cliff where Virat fell. She speaks to him in her heart, sharing what’s happening in the family. She says she bought herself a mangalsutra, which she will wear and hide as a memory of him. She then leaves.
Suhana interviews Amruta about Avirat Legacy, asking how they managed to establish themselves in the fashion industry so quickly. Amruta answers Suhana’s questions.
Meanwhile, Mandira is upset about her conversation with Babita. Her husband tries to calm her down, but Mandira vents her frustration, accusing Amruta of being cunning and not allowing Abhir to attend the interview. Dildar overhears Mandira and defends Amruta, reminding her that it was Abhir’s decision to stay out of the limelight. He praises Abhir’s ideas and explains that Amruta ensures the ideas stay within their financial budget.
During the interview, Amruta suggests that Suhana interview Abhir, their creative head. However, Nimrit struggles to reach Abhir on the phone. Amruta covers for him by giving a reason for his absence and takes a break from the interview. Suhana, however, confronts Amruta, asking if threats to their company are the real reason for Abhir’s absence. Amruta leaves without answering.
Amruta asks Nimrit if she has managed to contact Abhir. Nimrit says no, and Amruta comments on how Abhir always leaves them hanging at the last minute. She reminds Nimrit that the interview was his idea, yet he failed to attend. Nimrit agrees.
Suhana approaches Amruta again and questions whether Abhir’s absence is due to a rival company in Delhi trying to destroy them.
