The episode starts with Raghav noticing that the underwear in Reet’s hand belongs to him. He quickly takes it and puts it in his luggage. Reet makes a comment about Raghav and then leaves.
Meanwhile, Unnati hides Dhruv in her cupboard. Dhruv approaches Unnati and tells her that he has an important interview today. He mentions that Anuradha always feeds him curd and sugar before he leaves. Unnati reassures Dhruv, telling him not to worry, and promises to bring it for him.
While looking inside the cupboard, Dhruv finds Sharda’s necklace and questions Unnati about it.
Reet arrives at the Chowdhary house and tells Anuradha and Suman that she has brought Dhruv’s favorite milk cakes to seek his forgiveness.
Back at Unnati’s place, Dhruv asks her if Raghav gave her the necklace to insult him. Unnati remains silent. Dhruv, determined to get answers, prepares to call Raghav to discuss the necklace. At this point, Unnati clarifies that Raghav is unaware of it. Dhruv then asks if Sharda knows about the necklace, but Unnati stays silent again. Sensing the truth, Dhruv asks if she stole it from their own home.
Unnati admits that she stole the necklace because Dhruv lost his job, and they needed money for household expenses. Dhruv insists that they cannot keep the stolen necklace at home, as it would bring shame upon him if anyone found out. Unnati offers to confess the truth to everyone, but Reet interjects, saying there is no need. She assures them that she will return the necklace to its place. Unnati hesitates, stating that it’s risky. However, Dhruv convinces Unnati to give the necklace to Reet. Unnati then pleads with Reet not to reveal that she was the one who stole it. Reet promises to keep it a secret.
Later, Reet takes Dhruv to see a photo that has been fixed. Dhruv, feeling better, eats the milk cakes she brought and reconciles with her.
That night, Reet sneaks into Sharda’s room and places the necklace back in the cupboard. However, just as she is about to leave, Sharda and the family enter the room and find the locker keys in Reet’s hands. Sharda opens the cupboard and sees the necklace inside. Suspicious, she accuses Reet of stealing it.
Remembering the promise she made to Unnati, Reet takes the blame and admits to stealing the necklace. Furious, Sharda immediately asks Reet to leave the house. Reet pleads with Sharda to reconsider, but she refuses. Sharda then instructs Divya to pack Reet’s belongings. Reet, heartbroken, says there is no need and decides to leave on her own.
