The episode starts with Vaiju misunderstanding that Rannvijay did not find her while Rannvijay thinks that even though Vaiju was alive she did not even look for Rannvijay. Flashback shows drunk Rannvijay crying for Vaiju. Vasundhara consoles him and says that it’s been one month since she is gone but he has been punishing himself. Rannvijay thinks who Vani is and why she was addressing Vaiju as Aai. Vaiju thinks of flashback when Vani was 2 months old. She says that she is enough for herself and will not let Vani feel absence of her father.
Jaya is trying to call Rannvijay and feels tensed. She tells Vasundhara that she has been feeling weird. Rannvijay finally receives her call and says that there has been some network issues. Jaya questions if Vayu’s treatment has started. Rannvijay mistakenly takes Vaiju’s name but quickly changes his words and cuts the call. Vasundhara asks Jaya is she took Vaiju’s name. Jaya says Rannvijay took her name and stopped talking suddenly as if he is hiding something . Jaya thinks of past when Rannvijay lied to her for Vaiju. She says that she feels time is going to repeat itself.
Vasundhara tells Jaya to have water and calm down. She says that Rannvijay has suffered a lot because of Vaiju. He was almost gone and even forgot to smile. But finally learnt to live after Vayu came. In the past, Rannvijay donated a huge amount in orphanage. While he was there, he saw baby Vayu and decided to adopt him as his own Vayu. Jaya tells that she felt Rannvijay going towards old pain again. Rannvijay comes to Vayu and finds him upset. He tells Vayu that he is sorry for taking his smile away and behaving so rudely with him.
Rannvijay offers food to Vayu but he doesn’t want to eat it. Vayu says that he is looking for glasses as he knows he will not get cured anymore. Rannvijay tells that they will go to better doctor and he will get better. Vayu says about he got relief from headache from lep given by his fighter aunty. He says he feels courageous and better around her. Rannvijay thinks he cannot compromise Vayu’s future for his past. Vayu picks his bag and secretly leaves to meet Vaiju for his treatment. Rannvijay gets shocked to see Vayu missing.
Flashback shows when Rannvijay wanted to adopt Vayu, orphanage wanted him to have wife so that child has both parents. Vasundhara asks Jaya to get married to Rannvijay. Rannvijay says that no one take Vaiju’s place is his life. Vasundhara convinces them to become Vayu’s parents. Vaiju and Vani are in darkness as there is power cut. So Vaiju lights up lantern. They notice a shadow and realise it’s Vayu. Vani smiles seeing him while Vaiju is shocked. The episode ends.
