The episode starts with Amarjeet blaming Meghla for Ranbir’s lies to them. Zoravar also blames Meghla. Balveer says that he doesn’t understand what Ranbir is doing? Harman and Arjun get upset with Ranbir. Param badly criticises Adrija, but Simran says both Ranbir and Meghla are wrong. Just then, Ranbir reaches home, and he rushes inside.
Here, Chandan questions Meghla for using his name to lie. Before Meghla explains herself, Ranbir arrives there, and he requests Chandan not to say anything to Meghla because he is responsible for everything. Chandan questions Ranbir’s act. Ranbir tells Chandan that he is like a father to him. He can’t able to tolerate the insults the latter has gone through because he is like a father to him. So he has done all this, though Meghla opposed his decision. He further says his intentions aren’t to hurt him. Zoravar starts taunting Ranbir so the latter requests him to stop. He then pleads with Chandan to understand his intentions. He also says that he went against Meghla. Meghla says to Chandan that she tried to make Ranbir understand, but he remained stubborn in his decision. Adrija thinks in her mind Ranbir may change Chandan’s opinion about Meghla, but his family won’t forgive Meghla easily.
Meher expresses her disappointment towards both Ranbir and Meghla for their act, saying she feels insulted. Meghla takes a firm stand for Ranbir by questioning Bajwa’s for their earlier insulting behaviour towards Chandan. She also says that Ranbir isn’t wrong at all. Everyone gets shocked. Later, Chandan reaches home with Adrija. He looks upset, so Mahua gets worried. She asks them both what happened? Chandan blames himself for failing to give a good upbringing to his daughters because of which they are lying. He further talks about his self-respect and shares his agony with Mahua. Mahua gets confused, so she demands an answer from Adrija. Adrija shares with Mahua about everything that has happened. She also claims Meghla as an immature person. Mahua gets upset with Meghla.
Adrija emotionally manipulates both Chandan and Mahua with her lies, saying Meghla decides not to take any more favors from them. Chandan breaks down. Adrija hides her happiness for misleading her parents against Meghla. Later, Adrija and her parents reach Bajwa’s house to attend Ranbir-Meghla’s reception. But Ranbir’s family ignores them, so Chandan gets hurt. Mahua says that they have to fulfil their responsibilities as parents. They all go inside. Chandan decides not to meet Meghla after Adrija provokes him.
Here, Meghla shares her worries with Ranbir about her family members havingn’t arrived yet. Just then, both Mahua and Adrija arrive there. Meghla gets happy. She hugs Mahua. She then inquired with her about Chandan. Mahua tells Meghla that they have forced Chandan to attend this function, so she asks the latter not to disturb him. She also taunts Meghla for whatever happened earlier. Both Ranbir and Meghla get shocked.
Precap: Simran asks Ranbir and Meghla to cut the cake. Adrija asks them to make a wish. They both oblige. Adrija puts Meghla’s dress on fire before Meghla and Ranbir cut the cake. Everyone gets shocked.
