The episode starts with Adit asking Sowmya if she was locked in the room. Sowmya says yes and insists that Mangal locked her in. Shanti defends Mangal and argues with Sowmya, who angrily pushes her. Mangal asks Sowmya not to mistreat her mother. The guests, shocked by the scene, question why Sowmya is misbehaving and wonder why they were invited when the family is in turmoil. Kusum tries to manage the situation, but the guests and the pandit leave.
Shanti asks Sowmya if she had thandai, implying her behavior is irrational. Kusum scolds Sowmya for creating a scene. Sowmya confronts Mangal, asking what gives her the right to perform the pooja with Adit when he chose her (Sowmya) over Mangal. She accuses Mangal of pretending to still be Adit’s wife.
Meanwhile, Niketan informs his mother over the phone that there are problems between Adit and Sowmya. Suddenly, a vase breaks, and Adit wheels himself towards the noise. Someone closes the door, causing Adit’s wheelchair to tilt. Mangal rushes to help him, but Sowmya pushes her aside, claiming it’s her right to take care of Adit. In a surprising turn, Mangal’s voice returns, bringing joy to everyone.
Adit tells the family he felt someone in the room. Sudhesh checks but finds no one inside, suggesting the wind knocked over the glass. Adit remains suspicious. Sowmya storms off, while Shanti laments that Sowmya ruined their image in front of society. Later, Adit scolds Sowmya for her behavior. She lies, saying she fasted for him, and accuses him of scolding her without knowing who locked her in the room.
Mangal, confused, tells Kusum she doesn’t know who locked Sowmya in. Kusum notices Shanti looking tense and confronts her. Shanti coughs, and when Mangal leaves to get water, Kusum presses her for the truth. Shanti admits her actions but justifies them, and Kusum, reluctantly convinced, asks her to drop the matter.
Adit reassures Sowmya that he will announce the truth about their relationship at the right time. Meanwhile, Mangal worries about the next round of the competition but is distracted by Sowmya’s harsh words. Kusum asks Ishana for help, but she refuses. Mangal sends Kusum to rest.
The next morning, Kusum finds papers scattered in the hall and asks Mangal if she slept. Mangal says no. Sowmya arrives and taunts Mangal, saying she’s sure Mangal will be eliminated in the jungle round.
Mangal and Kusum arrive at the competition. The anchor calls Mangal to the stage, and the judges ask her the name of their product. Mangal looks on, speechless. Meanwhile, Niketan informs the organizers about Mangal’s situation to add more drama to the show.
Parallel Track:
The power goes out just as Karthik is about to see his reflection. Gayatri arrives, and Karthik tells her he’s leaving for a ride. After he leaves, Gayatri and Jia scold Lakshmi. Lakshmi explains she’s helping Karthik as per the doctor’s suggestion, trying to revive his memory. Gayatri warns Lakshmi not to cross her, accusing her of wanting Karthik to forget his mother.
In a fit of rage, Gayatri throws Lakshmi out of the house. Lakshmi’s head hits a flowerpot, and she falls unconscious. Jia approaches the unconscious Lakshmi and cruelly says that nature won’t help her — soon, Jia will become the house’s bahu, and Lakshmi will be gone for good.
Jia sees Karthik returning and quickly hides Lakshmi under a pile of dry leaves. Karthik asks what she’s doing, and Jia calls a worker to burn the leaves. The worker searches for a matchbox. Karthik feels restless, sensing something is wrong, but Jia tries to distract him.
The worker, unable to find matches, asks Raghuveer for a lighter. Raghuveer hands him one but then gets a call. He confronts Gayatri, saying Sanjana told him the truth. They argue, and Raghuveer warns Gayatri that if anything happens to Lakshmi, he will expose her to Karthik. Gayatri insists he won’t, but Raghuveer stands firm and gives her an ultimatum.
Meanwhile, the worker, unaware of Lakshmi beneath the leaves, prepares to set them on fire.
